how can anyone stand all the cursing that goes around in the world?

Just count it up to lack of intelligence. It is the unintelligent that resort to swearing because they don't know how to better express themselves. There really is no need for cursing, but I guess some people think it makes them seem tough. It really makes them seem ignorant. But if you don't do it and let others around you know that you don't and that it is offensive to you, eventually people will catch on and not do it themselves. I get very offended at cursing in movies, on television and even in books. There really is no need for it any where.

ov_gatorade how can anyone stand all the cursing that goes around in the world? i can stand it....well i guess because i cuss sometimes....but there are some words that i absolutely hate hearing...but yeah...i know its not a good thing that i swear, but then again, the 1 friend i hang out with does on occasion too....but oh well thats life i guess

I used to cuss quite a bit...I was at one point a non member. but I've learned ways to get around it like if I wanted to say that someone was stupid or somthing and wanted to cuss at them I would use an insult I made through reading Edgar allen Poe stories..."SILENCE you Ignoramus" or basically shut up you idiot. but that was just a very small example without curse words I know but yeah. I've been trying to get off of saying naughty words...on occasion I'll slip up but I don't try to, and when I do it's because I'm really mad at somone almost to the point of not forgiving. neutral

ov_gatorade how can anyone stand all the cursing that goes around in the world? I can't but can we stop what other people say? No however we can influence what they say by our actions. My friendds no longer swear around me.
