Just about half an hour ago I got cast for Aladdin in the production of... well... Aladdin! I'm pretty excited, but I know that I've been happier.
What role have you been the happiest/saddest that you got/lost? Did the role that you get play out the way that you wanted it to?

Well, I was really upset when I got cast for the ensemble for Wizard of Oz instead of a major role, but it was only because I lost my voice right before the auditions. However, I did a good job in my five minor roles, and I definitely got on the director's good side, so that gives me hope for the next production I do with her. 3nodding

Ahh yes, good ol' Wizard of Oz. I thin kthat that was the most hecktic play that I've done... then Grease, but man it was crazy dealing with all the little munchkins because they were all in like, 3rd grade... It was pretty bad.. The rehearsals I mean. We were TOTALLY sucky during hell week, but we managed to pull it together miraculously and got a standing ovation. We were all so surprised..
I was pretty happy when I learned that I got the Tinman, even though he was my least favorite of the bunch. I really wanted the scarecrow becasue he'd always been at the top of my list. But then someone that I totally despise got the scarecrow and I eventually began disliking the character... But now that I've seen Wicked he's back to the top of my list. But I won't spoil it for all of you that haven't seen it.

Grr.. I've heard so much about Wicked.. everyone I know has seen it and loves it... But I can't seem to get ahold of it! I can't find it at any of the movie rental places, I don't know anyone who owns it, and I've only seen it for sale - I'd buy it if I were certain I'd love it, but one can never be sure.
