Dragon Hope Spire is the Magical creation of all the dragons, giving thanks to the Star Dragons for sacrificing their lives so that all others on Ulhar Kethend could live.
The spire is a towering structuce constructed of obsidian and onyx, the entire surface of it shiney and slick to the touch. Etched into the face of the spire are runic symbols that detailing the entire event that lead to the extinction of the Star Dragons.
When the structure was made a large example of a Star Dragon sat rearing at the top, wings spread as if it was ready to burst up into the sky in flight. Centered on the chest of this solid black dragon was a bright, white, 6 rayed star that shines like it is a minature star in truth.
When the ceremony for the monument took place, a large quake shook the pillar, and from beneath the feet of the dragon a large spout of water exploded from the top, creating a waterfall that seemed to come from nowhere.
The waterfall then went on to create the large crescant moon shapped lake of Wurunwa. The creation of the lake ended up connectiong all the major rivers in the area, thus enabling all the Mer to enter the valley and travel deep into the center without the aid of a creature who lived out of the water.
This tribute has stood for hundreds of years now, and looks as new and perfect as the day it was made.
