here's my fan art. I usually do realism, but i went cartoony for the maureen one. I have a full body one of the same picture, but the cowbell isn't as recognizable. I drew the first draft of "maureen1" at the nederlander but in the dim lighting when i waited for the show to start, i accidentally colored her hair pink. I laughed. The mimi one was inspired by my "I'm going to see RENT" glee in the week before the show. It went through many drafts because i refused to sketch it in pencil first. Maureen looks a little more deranged in my other pic, and she's wearing the pants with the awkward star on the crotch. I'll have to try and find it. Enjoy.

I had fun with colors, even though the picture wasn't that realistic, it was crazy fun to draw. I just remembered! i have more rent art! I already posted it in the guild, but I'll post it again and hope no one minds.

and yes, i fixed the hand on the original, it looks a lot better, but i didn't get to scan it before i gave it away surprised
