Travis Wolfe

Hp: 44/3
Cp: 26/26
Mhp: 48/48

Travis was about to suggest leaving for a less.. wet and desolate area when a dart nailed Felix in the neck. Before he could completely comprehend what that was, another hit him in the neck. He pulled it out, but not fast enough. His vision blurred and he staggered.

He knew he didn't want to fall into the water again.. so he.. moved ahead towards dry land, but didn't make it, he fell down to his knee, then rolled to his back as he fell down, the world going dark.

Previously...

On the way to the Forest Marsh, Ayala was taking the boys on a different route to the Marsh. She took them on a more scenic route than the one that was normally travelled to the Marsh. All the while, as the ground seemed to get damper the closer they got to the Marsh, the higher that Ayala kept herself off of the ground until she was barely touching the water with the pads of her paws. She daintly channeled her chakra into her paws, allowing her to walk upon the water's surface when they had arrived. Hyousetsu, we're almost at the Marsh. Is the area secure? she asked, but wasn't given a response. She figured that he was busy scouring the area or taking care of any outside response through his own reconissance. When Felix released his grip on her, she looked on while Travis walked past her as well. Neither one seemed to want to keep themselves dry as they stomped about, sending water droplets into the air with each step. What she wanted to know, was just what they were up to. She could feel the chakra within each being stirred, but who was going to do what?

Ayala sat down upon the water's surface, showing just how much control she had over her own chakra. Felix's chakra seemed to have an adverse effect on him, in a similar way that used to effect Nakamura. His hair was changing, as was his scent. His scent was becoming slightly metallic, almost to match that of his chakra. She wondered why Travis didn't seem to want to fight back. It was like he was trying not to hit Felix... at least that's how it seemed untill Travis spit up blood. This was why she was sent here. At least, she figured it would be a reason as to why she would be. After all, she knew more Medical Ninjutsu than anyone else Nakamura knew. Though... it seemed they forgot about her, for while she inched towards them, the two seemed to have things under control.

Presently...

Then it came to her, foreign chakra signatures. She was paying to much attention to the boys, that she had neglected in her duties... but where was Hyousetsu? Two flashes caught her eye, and although she attempted to let them pierce her to protect the boys, she failed. The wordly objects flew right through her as if she wasn't even there and into their fleshy necks. Hyousetsu! The boys are down. Where are you? I'm taking them to the Springs... I only hope Nakamura is in a pleasent mood.

She trotted over towards the boys' bodies. They were breathing, but she couldn't seem to rouse them into awakening. Ayala then tried channelling her chakra into the many techniques she knew, but niether one was responsive to her healing attempts. This would only bring about one solution... the Springs. She bent her maw down towards Felix's neck, taking in his shirt collar around her jowels. Using a small ounce of her strength, she began to drag Felix's body along the water's surface towards Travis. When she reached him, she added Travis' left pantleg into her mouth before she dissappeared with the boy's in tow.

Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique)
A high-speed movement technique. It is described as 'appearing with the wind and disappearing like the wind.' Using chakra to activate the body, the user is able to move from one point to another with extreme speeds. This super-fast movement is almost impossible to see with the naked eye. Hyousetsu was keeping to himself while Ayala was watching over the boys. He had been able to locate the intruders, but was unable to sense their motifs'. He cut transmission to the others in order to hunt for them. However, he didn't count on them placing several scents all over the Marsh. While he was around, lurking, he hadn't been able to track the actual person behind the scents... at least... that's what he allowed them to believe. Instead of being on the ground, Hyousetsu was in the trees. By the time he managed to track down the shinobi, it was too late. He had already attacked the boys, but he himself was not safe. By the time Hyousetsu leapt to rip him asunder, he had become ash within his jaws. It spilled out of his maw and leaked down into the waters. Instead of reporting back to Nakamura as he watched Ayala handle the situation as she always did, he went out to find out what else was out there. Where there was ash, there were flames that made it.

Hiku awoke from his long nap. He kept his eyes close and didn't move. He felt to make sure nothing bound him and he had all his weapons. Once he was sure he slowly opened his eyes. The sunlight blinded him for a moment. He didn't expect it to be that high. He rolled over onto his hands and knees and pushed himself up. Slowly he walked over to the extinguished fire. "At least nothing caught on fire." He kicked the coals to make sure they were out. He smiled as he strapped the katana to his back. He slowly made his way back to the path. He took a deep breath as he started moving. His tongue feeling around his mouth as it searched for the bad taste. Thankfully he had one peppermint berry left. He tossed it in his mouth and began to suck lightly on it. He reached the bottom of a hill and as he climbed the hill he took deeper breaths. Finally when he reached the top he looked out over the forested area. "So that's the land of fire huh? Doesn't look so scary."

Hiku went to take his next step, but a hawk shrieked high above. It clutched a small piece of paper with a break away wooden container. He saw the note drop and reached out to catch it. His hand grasped around the falling item a few feet above the ground. He examined the container before he broke it open. A folded piece of paper awaited him inside. He gingerly took the note out and began to unfold it. Inside he found two words alone. "Return Immediately." He nodded to the message and turned around. He looked over his shoulder and sighed. He slowly began to walk back. He didn't question it he just kept walking back towards Taki.

Hiku Stretched his arms out in front of him and then wrapped them behind his head. He slowly started to hum a few notes to a song he had not heard in a long time. He smiled as he kicked rocks out of his way. He took his leisure walking back. The message flashed in his head. He sighed and picked up the pace. If he has to run hes not going to be happy. He picked up his pace to a fast walk and held it. He smiled as the sun pulled heat down onto him. He clutched his hand on the hilt of the Katana. He felt the grooved wrap of the hilt and smiled. He truly liked this Katana. It felt right in his hands, like it belonged there.

Hiku started to move at a fast walk. He could see the black gates right in front of him. He smiled as a thought scurried across him mind. This was his new home. The thought sent both fear and elation up his spine. What would happen if he left here? Or if they heard about the rumors of his past. He shrugged it off not thinking anything of it. His smile grew as the smell of water surrounded him. It was as if he was already there. As he drew nearer and nearer the black gate grew bigger and bigger. He smiled as he stopped just outside the black gate. He ran a hand over the black gate's entrance he smiled once more before stepping into the gate.
