"I wasn't complaining," Isto muttered, grinning in reply to Slush's glare. He raised an eyebrow when Slush climbed onto his shoulder, already composing a list of hiding spots for when the pink SM changed to fifth. Even with Slush's 'kitchen ho!' and tail whip, it took Isto a moment to realize he was supposed to be transportation. He rolled his eyes, then, chuckling softly, climbed to his feet, careful not to unbalance the pink SM on his shoulder. Stepping over to the door, he opened it and started back down the hall towards the kitchen. "What'd ya get me??"

Sur-prise... Duh.
*Slush rolled his eyes and grinned, settling down for the ride as they made their way towards the kitchen. He really couldn't wait till he was a fifth stage, and he wished he could grow faster, or something because he hated being so young with the thoughts he had. He felt trapped in himself. As they neared the kitchen, X heard their footsteps and waited for them to enter, poking at her pocket deminsion purse lazily.*

Laughing aloud with Slush's comment, Isto gave up his questions. They were almost to the kitchen already, and presents were always better when they were surprises. Pushing open the door to the kitchen, he stepped inside, waving vaguely to X. "We're back."
Moo was just taking a second batch of muffins out of the oven o_o

*X grinned happily as they both came back in what seemed like better spirits, and at Slush's ushering, she realized that her son wanted to give Isto the present he had picked out. Nodding she reached into her pocket demension and pulled out a three foot long stuffed shark, presenting it to Isto.* Slush couldn't carry it himself, but he did pick it out himself, and a smaller version for himself.*Slush had been watching until he smelled the muffins. More muffins! He hopped off Isto's shoulder and onto the counter eyeing Moo and trying to watch Isto's reaction at the same time.* Do you like it Sharkie?

Isto eyed the pocket demension curiously as X dug around in it, vaguely wondering what gift could possibly fit in it. It didn't look like anything could.....DOOD, giant shark plushie! Isto laughed aloud as he accepted the shark, automatically hugging it and flashing Slush a grin. "I love it! Thanks! You too, X!" He pulled out a chair and sat, resting the shark plush on his lap, still chuckling softly.
Moo could help but grin at Isto's reaction, absently dumping the muffinf onto the counter. Chuckling softly, she winked at Slush. "Isto doesn't get presents often," she whispered, then raised her voice back to normal. "Here, muffins, help yourself!"

*X and Slush both grinned wide when they saw Isto's reaction, though Slush did end up chortling happily in addition to the grin, his eyes beaming with pride too.*
We got something for Banda too...belated birthday and all...
*Slush nodded in agreement, still grinning over at Sharkie, he was so glad he had made his friend happy, it made him even happier. Hopping back off the counter with a muffin in his mouth, he hopped onto Isto's lap, curling up with him and the shark.*
Whatdaya gonna name it?

Moo positively beamed when X mentioned they had gotten Banda something as well, absently helping herself to a muffin. "Thank you! I'm sure he'll love it, whatever it is...um.... I don't actually know where he is right now, but I'm sure he'll turn up soon. Everyone loves muffins."
"I dunno..." Isto murmured, turning his eyes to the shark plush. His normal hand absently moves to pet Slush's back, grin fading to a faint frown as he thinks. "Hmm... I've never been good with names...Any suggestions?"

*Slush shook his head but murred happily at the pets he was receiving, rolling over somewhat so he could nuzzle against both the comfy Isto stomach/lap and the comfy stuffed shark. X smiled at the two SMs as she reached over and snatched up another muffin giving a cheeky grin and a sideways look to Moo.*
Aw, well whenever he comes down we'll shower him with oodles of belated birthday snugs and luffs... and then Slush and I can give him our gifties.

"Hmm..." Isto hardly noticed as Slush snuggled against him, for the time being more concerned with naming the stuffed shark. However, he did continue to absently pet Slush with his left hand, thinking. "Err... Do I have to name it right now? I really can't think of anything"
Chuckling softly, Moo took a large bite out of her muffin, swallowing before replying. "Sounds good t'me! Poor Banda, hardly anyone remembered his birthday... 'Course, he was away from HQ so long that I'm not surprised...We had a little family party for 'im, but nothing more."

*Slush closed his eyes after his comment and nuzzled against Isto's warmth. X frowned slightly, poor Banda, but no more... they'd remember his birthday every time for the rest of his life. He was such a sweet SM to not be celebrated, just like Isto. X turned towards Moo and smiled.*
Well next birthday, we'll throw Banda a huge party. Oy Isto, when's your birthday by the way? You two are both deserving of massive amounts of love and attention, and I'm more than happy to dote upon yall.

"Don't worry, I'll be sure to tell you." Isto grinned down at the younger SM on his lap, lightening his strokes somewhat when Slush closed his eyes, vaguely wondering if he was going to take a nap. He really couldn't blame him. True, he hadn't been awake very long, but he was still tired... Nights weren't long enough, Isto decided. He finally realized X was speaking to him and looked up, blusing faintly and mumbling a reply. "'Couple weeks....really, don't worry about it."
Rolling her eyes, Moo chuckled softly, then scooped a couple of muffins from the counter and headed for the door. "I'll be back in a few. Gonna see who's awake...tell 'em breakfast is ready."
