Help! Not Just Anybody! Help! You know I need Someone! HEEEEELP! LOL but no seriously I could use a little bit of help along the way. Because When I was younger, so much younger than today, I never needed anybody's help in any way. But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured, Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors. And I've got an actual dilema about my diploma. Help me if you can, I'm feeling down And I do appreciate you being round. Help me, get my feet back on the ground, Won't you please, please help me. You see... I either have to get my GED or go for about another 2 years of HS making three senior years! I can't do much without some sort of Highschool completion. And now my life has changed in oh so any ways, My independence seems to vanish in the haze. But every now and then I feel so insecure, I know that I just need you like I've never done before. I just want HS to be over with and go onto my mission or Palomar Comm college (I can't move out of state or goto a UNIV to college for family reasons) and then after my Mission start up a bussiness in IT teching. So please... Help me if you can, I'm feeling down. And I do appreciate you being round. Help me, get my feet back on the ground, Won't you please, please help me.

Thank you

PS I left out two verses. tee hee.

i was having the same problem....i had about half the required credits to graduate, and i was in 12th grade....i dropped out and did my GED.....it took about 3-4 months after i dropped out of highschool to study and get the test done and now i've gotten my GED. its much faster...but High School is a much better way if possible....but if you're not wanting it to take another 2 years then i'd suggest the GED....but ultimately its your decision....

At the risk of sounding slightly cheesy, I'd say that a decision of this magnitude is something to pray about. My insticts would be to go for the G.E.D. but there is something to be said for actually taking the classes. Sure you could study and finish it off but would you get the chance to study Marine Biology? (My H.S. actually had that. I loved it so much!)

So, my advice: Find somewhere where you can be comfortable and not be disturbed. What works for me is babbling my head off at God until my head is finally quiet. (Good thing He's God, I think only He would have the patience to listen for so long!) Then I tell Him my choice and ask for confirmation. If I don't get it or still feel hesitant or stodgy, I ask him about the other option. It's not an instant process but I wouldn't trust my life's path to anything less. I wish I had prayed about such things. My life's good now but I often wonder what it would have been like if I'd had the guts to go to B.Y.U. instead of the in-state university. (I'm very much a home body and B.Y.U-- ANY of their campuses-- is thousands of miles from my family.)

Thank you for your much needed replies. they were much needed grounders on the situation. Praying did not occour to me and now seems like the only resonable thing. thank you so much. any more replies would be appriechiated.
