Hello there and welcome to the guild. I hope you enjoy your stay. biggrin

This is a guild dedicated, (but not constricted to) visual art. That means traditional art, graphic art, anime, ANYTHING! So while you're here, please take a look over the rules I've set so far.

1. The Main Forum
This main forum is specifically dedicated to posting your art and discussing art. If you just drew a brand new picture and you want some comments, post it here. Please remember that by posting your art here, you're probably going to receive critiques. So don't get all whiney if someone points out something wrong with your picture. That brings me to the next point.

2. Critiquing
There is a difference between critiquing and bashing. Critiquing is encouraged in this guild, as long as it's constructive.

Constructive critique
Wow, that's a cute picture. However, I noticed that the girl's left leg is a bit longer than her right one. You could easily fix that up by moving her knee a bit higher and adjusting the shape of the shoe.

Bashing/flaming
Wow, that's a terrible picture. It really sucks.

3. WIPs
If you're posting a WIP (work in progress/sketch), please put the words "[WIP]" at the beginning of your thread title. This lets everyone know that this isn't your final version, and they can give you more critiques to help you polish a great looking picture.

4. Draw-overs
A draw-over is something like a visual critique. Some people may want to have a draw-over done for them, so they can see what mistakes they can correct. Please only do a draw-over if the person requests one, or if you have their personal permission.

If you'd like to do a draw-over for someone, here's how you do it:
• Save their picture and open it up in an art program.
• Pick a bold colour (such as red), and draw over (do not erase/cut anything from the original!) the areas that need adjustment.
• Re-post the modified picture in the thread, giving an explanation (if necessary) of the adjustments you made.

8. Posting your art
If your art isn't going to stretch the page (under 600x600 should be fine), then I'd prefer you post it directly in the post, instead of using a link. That's just me. I don't like clicking links. XD

That's all for now. Please follow the rules. If you repeatedly break them, you will probably be banned. :b

1. Where did my post go!?
If you've accidently posted a thread in the wrong subforum, I have moved it to the appropriate one. For example, if you posted that you're taking art requests in the Main Forum, I might have moved it to the Marketplace subforum.
If I delete your thread because it is not appropriate for this guild, you will receive a PM from me. Otherwise, it's just been moved to a more appropriate subforum.

2. Can I post a link to my Deviantart account in the main forum?

I'd prefer if you posted it in the Marketplace sticky. biggrin
