^Armatron, that's a really nice tribute to Hartnell! It really highlights some of the key traits of the First Doctor. ((and it suddenly reminds me that I still haven't finished watching that coma-inducing Web Planet DVD yet...))

^^That bus stop poem is brilliantly funny in so many ways. Lots of hilarious references to the show, too!

Roobarb's poem made me crack up! And Armatron's is so accurately descriptive, they're both awesome!

I wrote a poem that was a tribute of sorts to Ten, that is a teeny bit reminiscent of what the cat nun said to him in New Earth by the face of Boe.. it inspired me to write it, I guess. And some part I think I have reminds me of what Mme de Pompadour says about him as a 'lonely angel'..that part made me get all teary...

I might post it, it's rubbish though, I did it quite some time ago..

A lord of time and space
A man well out of place
Always there in the nick of time
Oft acused of anothers crime

Autons, Daleks, Cybermen
Faces them all time and again
In the end he gets it right
Always works on the side of light

Smartest man you would ever know
Helps others learn and grow
Gaurdian of the human race
Every so often changes his face

More often than not travels as two
Three or four if two wont do
Helps those in time of need
No villians plans can procede

About a fortnight ago, I had three snow days in a row. I was bored out of my mind by the end of the second day, so I re-watched a few episode I had on my iTouch, then started writing (proses and poetry, related and not related). Some things just came to me. Here's one of the things that just came to me, in semi-sonnet form, complete with a drab working title:

My Doctor

Into my world he flew so fast
On his way to someplace else.
He talked of the future. He talked of the past.
He talked of the still, silent bells.

He grabbed my hand and whisked me away
On a strange, impossible journey.
With a shout and a cheer: "Allons-y! Molto bene!"
He changed the world for me.

As the knocking will come and the sweet song will end
I wish you great luck, my dear lonely friend.

My Doctor...

How I see his hair shine in the breeze,
Whenever he frowns, he moves me.
How he wears glasses to hide his shame,
In my opinion, he should not be blamed.
He wore his tight suit to show his true colors,
I know when I see this man, there isn't any other.
His two little hearts, injured and sore.
I wonder, how can he be so sure?
His hands have done so many things
All the love and hate they will bring.
He keeps running, never looking back
Even though he's amazing, there are some things that he lacks.

Before tripping over his scarf.

At the sixth stop was a very angry clown.

And taught me how to juggle.

He kissed me then threatened to shoot himself.
Which I took as a bit of an insult.

Lol, expand it when the new guy comes.
