what are some of everyones favorite anime songs just out of curiosity. mine are Megumi Hayashibara - Give a Reason (Slayers), Maaya Sakamoto - Yubiwa (Vision of Escaflowne), Chiba Saeko - Sayonara Solitaire (Chrno Crusade), and Tainaka Sachi - disillusion (Fate/Stay Night). i think Yubiwa is probably one of the most beautiful songs that ive ever heard. i think everyone should check it out if u havent heard it. Maaya Sakamoto probably has one of the most melodic voices ive ever heard.

Well I cant really remember all of them right now or even who sings them but two that come to mind right now are the begining themes to Noir and .hack//sign.
I also love the end song to Cowboy Bebop. I have part of it memorized and need to see it again to memorize more. I was gonna sing it in a band but the gig got canceled.
I also like some of the high tech beat of FMA in the begining song.

Well, I love Lilium, the opening theme for Elfen Lied.
I have most of it memorized by now. . .
Sakura Drops by Utada Hikaru, (I believe that's from Naruto. . .) and Kinjirareta Asobi by Ali Project, which is the opening theme for Rozen Maiden, and a lot of Yui Horie's works are awesome as well.
I don't like it when the English dubs give the shows new opening and closing themes though. The little "rap" they did with One Piece is just stupid. stare

I dont know some of the ones you have there, but I know Lithium to Elfen Lied since it was such a great series. I have ti on my computer.

Since it only seems to be 4kids and Saban who give their anime English themes and I haven't heard the original themes for YGO or Shaman king Or Digimon or Poekmon; I shall safely say I like Japanese themes better.
And a note to all those who had to tolerate the English dubs of the first few InuYasha themes, I feel for you, they truly are horrid (especially compared to the original Japanese ones).
There are some, like those from Cardcaptors (where the original songs were redone, not an entirely new song) which are fairly good.
Favourites songs as of this moment:
This light I see (Bleach Vocal Collection Hitsugaya Toushiro)
Akatsuki no kuruma (insert song from Gundam Seed)
Tehruu no uta (Gendo Senki)
Rewrite- Asian Kung-fu generation
Anything by one of the FictionJunctions and Yoko Kanno

I like a lot fo the japanese music better but some of them are kind of sad. what really bothers me is when the ending song has absolutely nothing to do with the ainme. one ending song had to do with a freakin camera.

Well, I can't understand what they're saying have the time anyways. They could be singing about sock shopping for all I know XP

I can pull some of the japanese words out since I am part japanese and i have heard them from my granmother's side of the family, but I like the melodies too.

in my opinion Yoko Kanno never misses.
how different her music is for each series!
Ghost in the shell is almost trance/techno while Cowboy Bebop has hot (and cool) jazz.
