There’s always that weird idea that you “are what you eat”, well so ingrained into our psyche is that saying that now people are trying to convince us that our children will become what they watch/play/read. So I ask that question of you all. What video games/movies/books do you play/watch/read, and how much like these things are you?Example and my answer I love horror movies (aside from zombie movies), weird movies, movies to do with spirits and monsters, and generally anything that's not the norm of action/thriller/romance movies. I like my video games and books the same why. I am really nothing like my movies/games/books really. I don't fly off the handle often, and I never do to the point of violence. I don't go toward the "haunted asylum" (thank you Supernatural) and I tend not to be the kind of person that scares other people for fun.

I'll admit it. I love giant creature movies, be they zombies, dinosaurs, freaks of science, whatever. Anything with the power to easily kill a human--and a bad attitude to go with it. (-worships the Nemesis-) I love violent games as well as movies, as well as horror movies. Sci-fi things draw me in as well--as long as they have a plot and are more...medieval based. I'm not one for the giant flying ships through space and whatever.
Obviously, I can't go on a huge gorefest like half of the things I watch/play. But yes, I would say I'm like my video games and movies. Books too. I have a horrible temper, and sometimes I feel like I can't calm down unless I hurt someone. Badly. I haven't yet; biting my fist in my room works well enough...But if I had the chance to turn into some freakish monster? You can bet that I'd rampage through a few towns, maiming everyone in sight. Until they sent the government after me. wink So, in a few ways, I'm related to what I watch/play/read.

I play Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, mostly. I watch shoujo anime and shonen-ai anime. I own a few Jackie Chan movies, 'cause I'm a tard. I've also a couple of Monty Python movies, and two seasons of "The Pretender." Books, I read manga... I haven't read much else for a while. But I like stories with sex and character torture. ^_^
If I were like the things I watch/read/play, I would be gay (well, got that), have spikey hair, dress in frilly clothing, be able to do kung fu, would be raped at least once a week, would be able to assume any profession or identity available, and would be obsessed with shrubberies and finding the Holy Grail.
Not much similarity between me and those things. xp

well, i enjoy harem, romance and mecha style anime the most. gorey a** movies are the bomb and violent video games/ most ff games make me happy.
i've surrounded myself with beautiful people and have one person i can be with for a while but as of yet, sadly, there's no giant robots. kinda makes me cry. occassionally i'll go on a streak where i want to take one of my multiple blades or buy a new one and go out and chop off peoples limbs but i never do, to gaurded and don't want to go to jail as of yet. but if i were what i played the most i would constantly be carrying around some kind of weapon (preferably sword) and i think i'll do that starting soon. at least keep it in my car to take out for show
also i should/do kinda act and dress like a girl more often then not if i ain't at work

I love movies where evil conquers good. Torture, death, gore, senseless violence, rape-- they reve my engine. I love movies like The Omen, Hostel and Speak. I also love Anime wherein something horrible befalls mankind, and the occasional shounen-ai romance, such as Loveless or LAIN.
I play loads of fantasy roleplaying games, and the occasional horror, though I often terrify myself when playing scary games-- I neaarly died when I was little and played Silent Hill and Resident Evil for the first time. I love to play games involving training, breeding or general exploring-- needless to say, the Digimon and Pokemon franchises make up my game library.
Strangely enough, I can be brought to tears if someone harms an animal or threatens another human being without mercy. I hate experiencing death and destruction, though the idea of the apocolypse facinates and excites me. I'm a little weird like that. I'm often afraid of physiccal fights, and don't like to see others get hurt when they don't deserve it.
I'm basically a furby-- I'm cute, cuddly, and hard to interpret. dramallama
If my personality matched my interests, I'd be a blood-drinking antichrist's sister with a tendancy for sawing off peoples limbs and torturing them without mercy, then rape a girl and leave her dead in a parking garage or something. Not to mention I'd say my name instead of speaking english, a la pokemon.
I often wish I had control over a large, God-like beast-- such as one found in Black and White, or had the abilities of an angel or vampire-- I'm ecentric and fantastical, but not violent-- although, if I were a vampire, I'd totally mawl y'all.

Me, my tastes are rather sordid and varied. I love the genre that some call "grue-sex," and anything erotic and terrifying. I read books where there're always horrible things happening to the main character, and that rarely ever end happily ever after. Vampires, werewolves, ghosts, zombies...they all tickle my fancy! Be they in books, video games, on television, in movies.
I'm kinda weird, I guess. I like things that scare me. My favorite t.v. show is n**/Tuck. I loved the idea that Christain got raped, and was waaaaaaay in love with the Carver. Yeah...I'm not quite as cute and cuddly as the vibe that I usually give off. I also love comics like Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, and Lenore: the Adventures of a Cute Little Dead Girl.
Oh, and I'm all for anything yaoi/yuri related {{especially if there's rape and angst and fear involved -- cos i'm a total creep!!!}}. Except for lesbian porn. It sucks.
Sooooo.....
If I was really like the things I like...if I was what I play/read/get entertained by, I'd be like this horrible sado-masochistic serial rapist who plays mind games with the victim {like making them love me before I raped/killed them} ...and is also a vampire who hates lesbian porn and worked within the profession of plastic surgeon. I'd be smokin' hott, too. And far from hetero. Oh, and I'd have a wicked sense of humor about my killing sprees, except when I was being all emo about it. Andandand I'd prolly have a god complex, too.
Is that me?
I'm not straight, no. I...might be a little sado-maso... I err...don't go on killing sprees, though I do get all angsty about it, and my sense of humor is totally lost on all those who think dead baby jokes aren't funny. I'm so not smokin' hott. emo And I've no intent on becomming a plastic surgeon.
