Glad to hear she's recovering! It'll probably be a long road but it's one worth the journey. ^_^

I just now saw this and it really opened my eyes!
I'm soo glad Shaina is responding, and I'll be sure to pray for her as often as I can!
I'm also very glad they found and cought that guy. Who knows whoelse he could hurt like that.

Update 6:Bonnie Karrie called today and said Shaina is very much alert and that she knows why she is there. She is off the morphine also. She said that she is getting restless and kicking her legs. The nurses told her it wouldnt hurt anything. Shaina is really making progress. She understands everything but she still cant talk because the trach is still in. Great news today.
