 This is How it all BeganWho was the little bug that always spoke over your shoulder in the right and wrong circumstances? Where did they come from, and why did they choose that particular moment to say whether or not you should do this, or shouldn't for that matter. In any scenario, one would say the creature was your conscious, in others, they would just say it's your heart.
For Delu'Elon, it was neither.
The female had grown weary of her past. Why? Let the story unfold, shall we?
'The multicolor wild dog was like any other family. She had a mother, a father and a few siblings (only a few, regardless of how many pups a wild dog can really have). Growing up in a small portion of the southlands taught the three how to live, how to hunt and how to well...just be wild dogs.
When the sun fell from the sky, each of the pups would hurry inside. Delu, being the oldest, decided to test her luck one day and stay out past the sun's dip into the horizon.
Nothing happened. No predators, like her parents had told her roamed the area; no strange creatures, you know - the ones that go around laughing maniacally at something they know, but you don't; and other's like herself. There was none. Only the faint sound of bliss from the sad song cricket chirps and faint wind rustlings through the trees. This strange silence is what first caught the female's pup interest.
Every night, the eldest of the three siblings would remain out, enjoying the faint glow of the stars compared to the bright hue of the moon. A small smile would caress her lips then, making small howl-y puppy noises as she sung with the crickets.'

It Continues Still...Even to this Day
So, you'd eventually think /something/ would happen to the small pup out on her own right? I mean, what sort of parents leave one of their daughters in the rogue southalnds where merciless creatures hung about? That answer will never come, seeing as the parents aren't around for questioning.
What is something a curious pup to do, when staying in one spot too long seems to make you antsy? Well, leave of course! A family in the den, a home - it was all in the past, and the past was over.
But instead of something happening to Delu, she seemed to see something. Rumors floated about from other species about how on dark nights, wispy appartions would appear to them. Let me guess, you are now thinking ghosts do not exist, right? Well, in this paint's world, /something (again)/ had to speak to her.
It came to her so suddenly, like a speeding bullet train. It wasn't anything like she imagined. A white wild dog, bare in markings other then the hue white, had appeared from nowhere, walking towards her.
Instantly believing the fact that this HAD to be an apparition the lions and leopards all conversed about, the female hid. The thought never occured to her that it was just another lone wolf who was just wondering about. Being her small form, she could easily hide from the white ghost, in which she did. The murkey brown pelt blended well in the dark among the grasses. Pale green eyes watched as the white wolf neared, afraid that it might do something if it caught her.
Instead, it just stared in the direction of Delu. Nothing. No speech, no movements, nothing. Then it moved. Turning around as it fled slowly from the small female.
It was a strange encounter indeed. But it always remained in her mind. On other nights, the small pup would see the same figure walk near her, as if watching.
And the watching continued, even to this day.

He Taught me Everything...
The white wolf appeared beside Lu everyday, guiding her from her homeland towards the unknown. It was an adventure for the small dog. The thought of who this white wolf that led her never had crossed her mind. But then again, the female was still a pup, her mind being molded in an adventurous streak.
When the white wolf had thought she was old enough, he woke her up one morning nodded her outside the den. Where they were going, was a suprise for the rugged looking female. "What's this?" Lu commented, but being the silent being he was, the white wolf never answered.
The sight was beautiful.
It was a grazing patch for the prey animals of the savannah! Lu got the hint from this! She was gonna get to hunt! Her VERY FIRST HUNT! Squealing, the female giggled, and pounced towards the smallest animal.
Unfortantly this was a bad idea, for the herd was spooked by her actions. At the stare from the white wolf, she apologized, and watched the male move.
So that was how it was done. The white wolf moved with such grace, such...agilty, that it was almost impossible for a pup her age to ever master, but she'd practice, and she'd do it!

As we get older, we learn more and more
Lu had aged greatly by this time. Her legs were straggily, yet her body was graceful. She had been living on her own for about a year now, but the white wolf had been with her everyday since hte day she left.
From teh time of her travling, to the days where her hunting improved everyday, she learned more. Even one day, she came to learn about hte past of the white wolf.
Well...not past persay, but actually who the white wolf really was.
Upon meeting another of her species, an older wild dog, female in gender and golden in color, Lu had come to a conclusion she was the only one to really be able to see the white wolf. What was he?
A ghost? An apparition? A spirit clinging to life? But why had he chosen her to be with? Was there a way for her to communicate with the silent being?
As of now, there wasn't a way for Lu to bring up how she was going to ask him who he really was. She liked him being her guardian, and she liked traveling with him, therefore, the facts not needed to be known were not asked!

So this is where we are today?
When Lu had grown to adulthood, she became well known about her past. She no longer thought of her white wolf guardian as a spirit, but instead, a friend who had helped her so long. He was even helping her still to this day!
Well...apart from now. The white wolf was clearly not around. Green eyes peered everywhere, but hte female couldn't find the guardian anywhere!
Instead, she did happen to find another strange being though. She could recall their meeting well...

The day was like any normal day. As usual, the white wolf wandered off from Lu, leaving the female to search frantically up and down the savannah for him. Where could he have gotten off to today? Usually the female could find him, but today he poofed. Was someone near that made the sight of the white wolf disappear?
Only one could tell.
Lifting her nose into the air, she scented it, finding that infact another was nearby! Her tail wagged. Lu loved meeting new people!

It was indeed another, but not one Lu would like to meet. It was the infamous flirt Kaleaushi, out to stake another female. Or perhaps his very first! After all, no female seemed to fall for his charm... SIghing, the male groaned. Oh, he would find a female to sedu...I mean befriend one day. Oh yes, yes he would!
The pink eyed male spotted the female not to far from him, and his tial instantly began to wag. "Tell me...what's a pretty lady like you doing on your own?" Kale asked, his normal introduction to female.

At the male's comment, Lu tilted her head. "Excuse me?" THe female asked, her tail moving inbetween her legs. "I...er..." Lu was speechless. Never had a male spoken to her like this. IT was pretty...strange. Lu blinked. "I'm...not alone?" The female offered. But for Kale it wasn't enough.

The pink eyed male gazed at her. "What do you mean? There is no one else here but you and me!" Kale yipped, his tail wagging. "I mean...unless I'm blind, but I think I can see perfectly clear! After all, if I couldn't see anything, I wouldn't be able to see your beautiful face!" Kale charmed the female, but was horribly bad at it.

Lu blinked. "Er...no.." She sweatdropped. I mean...I am traveling with another. He..just went off on his own for a moment. He'll be back by night fall!"

At this, Kale's eyes dropped. A He? Damn! Kale growled inwardly. "Certainly he wouldn't just leave a pretty thing like yourself out like this...would he?" THe male asked. "I mean, this world is pretty harsh to our kind...especially females." Kale warned, tail waggin slightly. "Come on, you should travel with me!"

"I don't think so..." Lu stated, rolling her eyes. "/He/ wouldn't like that!" She growled, her tail sticking straight out. "Now, if you'll excuse me.." She growled, turning away from Kale.

Unfortantly, Kale wasn't a fighter. He was more of the kind to actually want teh female to follow him! "Okay Okay! Don't worry! I'll be here pretty lady if...if your man doesn't come for you! Remember!" And Kale was gone leaving Lu wandering in the other direction alone.[/size]
