MysticWaters__xo Mark and Travis have started a side project called Plus 44. It will have Travis on drums and keyboard, and Mark singing and bass. There is also a second vocal. Unfortunately, it's not Tom's but a female. She's Carol Heller, formerly of the California all-girl punk quartet Get the Girl. The band is very electronic.

Two thumbs way up.
Carol quit the band so she could start a family, however. So Mark sings her vocals, even if it doesn't make sense.
Horray I'm seeing them tomorrow.

I just saw Plus 44 in concert last Sunday. They were pretty good, but Mark was a bit nasal, and that made his voice a little dissapointing. All in all, they are quite good, and with Travis' drum skills, it really heightens the music. (Travis broke his wrist, so he was doing the whole tour one-handed. In the middle of the set, he lit a ciggie with the broken hand. 4laugh )
