This is something I posted elsewhere, on the Rules and ways of Roleplaying.

Quoted by a man named Phycho: Mk so basically RPing is kinda like those imaginary games you'd play as a child *Example* And here mr. Monkey fighter goes to beat up the bad guys *End of Example* so if you try to remember those days it should be a little easier

Now although Mr. Monkey Fighter is a more than odd name, created by Phycho, I may as well enhance it

Example:

Mr. Monkey Fighter held up his punching gauntlets as he began his charge toward his adversary.

A good Opening Roleplay post should be filled to the brim of enviormental settings, Time and Date in setting, and a pretty good explanation on how your character(s) are doing.

Example:

Super the hedgehog lounged on a bench quietly in an abandoned street in a sub-burb of Station Square. He chomped a burger nonchalently watching a fly that seemed to take interest in the Lime Green hedgehog. The edges of his mouth were slightly smiling due tot he fact he was enjoying one of the best burgers the restuarant down the corner could offer. He looked down the street and watched as a cat quickly ran across the street while ebing chased by a dog. "Such is life..." He commented and fell back on the bench.

That is a nice introduction, but kind of short.

Most Weapon and style of weaponary is explained in your characters proile, at least for me, and you give a brief explanation in the RP itself because your character doesn't know as much as you do.

This is just some other or more defied rules of roleplaying. Remember to use vocabulary, to start new paragraphs when another character speaks, and no God-moding.

Here is an Excerpt to what I told someone else when hey asked to join my RP I reviewed thier skills and those they were Rping With.

Alot of Godmodding I see in that other Roleplay of yours. Tell the other people that they need to accuratly portray thier characters movement and attack. 'Sidestepping' and 'ducked' in One sentance structures Ticks Me off.

At least when you roleplay a dodge, analyze the attack on you and see if you can find weakpoints that they did not see. You, as Mecha Knux, Should have quickly spun around and shot a missile when Sonic Sidesteped, because sidestepping limits ones ability to dodge quickly and therefore would have left Sonic open to attack.

But thats just me. Your an Allright Roleplayer, but exploit the weaknesses of Wannabe Godmodders. If they dodge time after time, either leave or dodge thier attacks no matter what until they take a hit. You, of course, have to take a steady hit, or your no different.

And Thats Super's Roleplaying lesson for today.

My RP-ing Example.

# **Super turned to one of the cameras and sighed. "How the Heck did Naida get into my house, let alone FIND it. I specially chose it out of nowhere AND covered it up." He sighed and pressed a few buttons, turning on the Intercom System. "Naida, How the HECK did you find my house?" It blared out in the living room. Turning back to Sparky, he noticed she was gone. "Oh. Hm. She probly went to get some food. Silly, I had chicken strips right here." He grabed one that was nearby and munched on it.****

One Last thing. I brought back an element I posted Earlier. Two, actually. The position of the house and the Chicken strips. Oh, and the fact Super is an active inventor, his mind swelling with new ideas. Trying to make it as real as possible, Super had missed when Sparky left. Knowing full well it was morning, he made a correct assumption of her absence being food related.

this helps. And Remember:

NO GODMODDING.

And yout not being charged by the letter, You can type out words. No "R U A S8ER?" or stuff like that.
