Flan's Beach lies just to the east of Chocobo's Garden, making it more populated with blue Chocobos and the occasional gold Chocobo than it is with actual Flans. However, what Flans lack in numbers, they make up for in character. Flans are among the most humourous Familiars around, and will stop at nothing to cheer up any creature they see who isn't smiling.
This cheerful state of mind is reflected in the appearence of Flan's Beach. The Beach stretches for miles along the coast of Familiar's Paradise. The sand itself is as white as the sea is blue, and everything seems to have a shimmering glow. There are many different types of trees and plants that grow along the beach, the rarest being the Paopu Tree. The fruit that grows on this tree is shaped like a star, which is very unusual. I haven't tasted one myself yet, but when I have, I'll let you know what it's like.
Along with the native Flans and roaming Chocbos, various merchants can be found here, as Flan's Beach is very popular among many Familiars. Be aware of the Mu in the lilac waist coat. He sells jewellery, but it's all fake. He claims that his merchandise is all mined and crafted within Mu's Goldmine, when really it is simply recycled costume jewellery. If that's actually what you're looking for though, be sure to bargain with him.
Another merchant you should look out for is the enchanting pink and white Behemoth that goes there everyday to sell ice cream and candy floss. Her name's Purll, and she's one of the nicest Familiars you'll ever meet. She's as sweet as the tasty delights she sells, if not sweeter. I still remember the very first time I set my eyes on her, and ordered a vanilla ice cream with strawberry syrup. She looked at me and smiled, and then handed me what I asked for with a little something extra. Green and red sprinkles on top. If that's not love I don't know what is. I think fondly of her everyday.
Yes, Flan's Beach is truely one of the best places in Familiar's Paradise, because that's where you'll meet Purll. There's nothing more to be said other than go there and have a good time.
