Ahriman's Forest is located a fair distance to the south of Familiar's Paradise Central. Considering it's a forest, it's quite small, as one could easily walk from one side of it to the other in less than thirty minutes. I was told that from up above, the Forest looks as though it's shaped like an eye, with the pupil being made up of the tiny lake that graces the clearing in the centre of the Forest.
The Forest is home to not only Ahrimans, but a variety of Feral Familiars that prefer the more open and cooler climate of Ahriman's Forest to the humidity of Feral's Jungle. The trees in the Forest are tall, allowing a lovely gust of wind to carry itself throughout the entire area.
One of the Feral Familiars worth noting goes by the name of Ragtime Mouse. He's a funny fellow to say the least. He runs around the Forest asking anyone he comes across random true or false questions. If you get it right, you get a prize. I'm not sure what happens when you get an answer wrong, having never answered one wrong. Considering how high Ragtime can kick though, I wouldn't want to cross him with a wrong answer.
Almost all Familiars will pass through Ahriman's Forest at some point in their lives, so thankfully, it's one of the nicest scenic routes around.
