His brother had been taken off by Denge, he hadn't seen them in a while, his sisters were off somewhere and he was left alone by the waters edge.
His mother, Ithi seemed to be having some issues and she never was mother material, but he loved her all the same. How can you not love someone who brought you into the world?
His tail swayed behind him, kicking up some dust as he did so. The ground was so dry. The water level seemed to be getting lower, but Dharaba had decided that he was just getting bigger and it only looked as if it was getting smaller!
He licked at his paw, his green eyes watching the ground. He wasn't a very alert cub, he found no reason to be.

Miaiko prowled disconsolately along the edge of the river. It was never really in her nature to be disconsolate; she was the strong, reckless one of the three, the first born and the responsible one. But now, as her white dipped paws paced down the edge of the ever slackening river, her dark golden eyes were lost somewhere else.
Until she spotted another cub.
Younger than her? Had she really got that much bigger?
Her ears perked forward, and she tried to shake off her mood.
"Storm God greet you, stranger," she said, trying to put as much cheerful strength into her tone as mother did.

He raised his eyes and stopped the licking of his paws. They would have to be cleaned later.
"If the Storm God was around that is." He smiled softly, his voice was soft as well, he hadn't inherited his mothers behaviour. "Hello there miss, I am Dharaba." He raised his body into a sitting position, his markings of a mane hanging over part of one eye.

Oh, he's around. Just.... waiting for something, I'm sure." Miaiko's brow furrowed for a moment, frowning vaguely at the sky. "That's what father says anyway. But wait, I haven't seen you before?" Her tail curled into an inquistive questionmark before flicking away again.
"I'm Miaiko, daughter of Enki," she said with a small smile. "I was born here, but I never saw you before. But that you know of the Storm God? THen you are a Mistweaver, an Umande'mfuni, just like me." She looked pleased. "Nice to meet you?"

"I am son of Ithibati, I have a sister and a brother. Ny is a half sister, she was born to Denge who is like another mother to me!" He smiled, proud of his two mothers.
"I haven't seen you before, but then I have only met Seki she is all black! I was born here, its lovely here!" He spoke a little more loudly now, more cub like and playfully.

"You have two mothers?" Miaiko looked suitably confused at that. La'atzu had asked innocently about that kind of thing not too long ago, and she -knew- that she and her siblings were born because father and mother were mated. "So is that why only half?" She looked intrigued for a moment. An all black cub, Seki... the name rang a faint bell in her head, but she was sure the name she had heard was longer than that. She ought to remember, she told herself crossly. They were supposed to be her cousins, even if she hadn't met them yet.

"Well kind of. I dont know my father, Seki told me I had to have a father... I dont know him though and Denge helps look after us, so she like another mother!" He didn't understand love or anything like that. He didn't understand much about adult things.

"That's pretty interesting." Miaiko indeed was suitably impressed, padding down aimlessly to the water's edge a little way away.
"But you haven't been up to the waterfalls yet, have you?" She suddenly realised out loud, letting a few sparkling droplets fly as she stirred the water's surface with one white paw.

"I have seen them, when I was a little younger, mother took me!" His green eyes looked back at her curiously. He looked at her coat, it didn't ring any bells in his head so he couldn't of met her when he was tiny, his mother said it was possible he had met others and wouldn't remember. He couldn't though and doubted he had met anyone.

Miaiko looked frankly skeptical for a moment, still not old enough to be tactful. SHe shook her head a little, and tried smiling again.
"Well, I live at the waterfalls, they're -amazing-," she stressed, flicking her paw free of the water to come trotting back up towards the younger, placid cub. "If you haven't seen them properly, you really should. Hey, you know, if you follow the river round, it's not actually that far..."
Maybe she could get this little male to see the true beauty of the waterfalls, that she saw every day! "Mother named me 'spray' after the waterfalls, you know," she said proudly.

Dharaba looked at her and then the river. "Maybe you could show me them?" He suggested, he could always make another friend at the same time which was never a bad thing!
"I was named after a storm, maybe after the God himself! I dobt it though. Mother was expecting me and my brother and sister to be little terrors.."
