Yeah, he's definivitlya mix of Zack and Reno. Especially Reno. heart
But, I can't let go of the idea that Axel's Riku's nobody.

I'm seeing Zack as Axel's other right now, mainly because of a roleplay a couple friends of mine did. And it could possibly be! Maybe we'll find out in KH3... n__n

I never thought that Axel looked like Zack but after this XD, but i think that Axel looks more like Reno

Ipoku I think he was a dude named Alex. But I dunno...he does seem like a Reno and Zack mix.
There was a funny CloudZack picture where Cloud mistook Axel for Zack, and Axel proceeded to be totally freaked out. XD Nah, he couldn't be Alex. You have to take out the X and scramble. Roxas: Sora X Zexion: Iezon X Xemnas: Ansem X Vexen: Even X and so on...

XD Yee, that's certainly make sense, considering Roxas looks like a little curly-haired Cloud.
Really though, It would be interesting if he were a character we already knew, but the chances are slim. All but Xehanort had their names just re-arranged with an X thrown in there, but considering how sneaky Axel was, that may not have been the case with him at all.

Riku never had his heart taken, so it's not possible for Axel to be Riku's Nobody.
Morurie-- Yeah! I saw fanart where Roxas was cosplaying Cloud. Although, I think Axel was cosplaying Red XIII, so... heh. sweatdrop

The one guy in Twilight town that was the champ of the struggle contest had a heartless logo (if i remember correctly) and had the same hair mod as Axel. He also kind-of acted like Axel....Its just a guess but that might have been Axel's heartless.

Anyway. I don't think he had a Heartless symbol. Then again, I don't pay attention. But that's a good theory!
