I don't know anyone that plays bass on gaia that isn't in the guild.

Na, this guild has its Ups and Downs every now and then. I've personally been in this guild long before gaia even developed a guild system and pretty much this is how the guild has always been. People come and go, and sometimes there could be alot of excitement and others it just seems like really quiet days. Tis the nature of the beast.
As we've learned in the past, advertising for new members usually only brings a temporary relief for such silence before it reverts back to its original groove. If your up for advertising, that's fine.. im sure no one here would say anything against it, but im just letting you know now that it really make that much of a difference.

What he sead, even in the ghetto guild days...when this guild was a thread...it hade its ups and downs. Some days i would get back from school, and there would be 5 new pages...and some times there would be like 1 post a week

If only we had some bikini-clad women to drape over our guitars! It works for the car dealerships!!! And yes, I mean drape! The d is meant to be there!

hmm I think were going about this wrong, we need topics we can keep a discussion going on. And new topics. We could try a News thread and update whats currently up with varios bassists in the media, and upcomming bass related products. That might increase some activity.
We couled also start a thread to discuss how our bands/projects are comming along, because Im aware that alot of the members pretty active members in their bands so it could be used to dicuss progress, directions they are taking there music, new directions they want to take their music? I dunno seems we just need to create more things to dicuss and chat about amungst ourselvs as oppose to just increase our numbers. IMO
Iunno thats my attempt at a helpfull contribution lol I'm out of ideas.
