Your moderation teams are horrid in the Video Game Discussion Forum, the organisation there is pathetic and the forum layout is horrible and needs to be changed so we have better subforums and guidelines/stickies
Currently your layout is worse then the other one, I honestly wish I knew how/why you (admins) thought this was a good idea.
Its un-organized, to spaced out and poor looking, childish when we have people of all ages on gaia, and the navagation is horrid
But the real question is, why bother asking us what WE think of it when you (admins) wont change it to a look that WE like, yes this is your site but why bother managing it if you dont REALLY care what people think about it?
Yes, I'm sure all the flash applications you added are fun to some of the younger members but to me, I dont use towns, fishing, slots, or my house.
Why? Because to me its a waste of time, I came here to talk to people, not play around with stuff that doesnt matter to me.
I also dont care about it because the moderation team in the VGD has banned me 16-17 times, thus its to hard for me to get my avatar back, let alone fix my "house"
and I'm sure as other people are reading this they are saying "well you probaly deserved a ban" but the truth is, YOU dont know why I was banned
I along with MANY other users in the VGD have been banned for very very very stupid reasons, being sarcastic, joking with our friends, and so on
Gaia bans me for having ecchi in my sig (which isnt that bad actually) and telling people to "shut up" but they let people in the slots and chatterbox say things like "OMG *slaps your a*** I LOVE YOU *licks your p***s*"
Where is the moderation there?
You need to hire mods that [are]
1) are above the age 19
2) have common sense
3) have a sense of humor
4) do not look at posts in a "black or white" view
5) know how to moderate a forum
6) HAVE EXPERIENCE moderating a forum
7) Active, and they post and interact with people
8 )Helpful and online more then 5 minutes
Gaia, fix these problems
Get your layout to something people of all ages can enjoy, make some graphics, make it look like a professional anime message board.
