Sasuke scowled irritably. Even though it was practically routine, it never
ceased to annoy him. He sped up and looked for some place he could escape
to.
'Bloody fangirls!' he thought. A particularly piercing shriek from
one of the girls made him wince. They were now less than 150 meters away.
Making a sudden turn, he dashed down a side street. 'Seriously, most of
these girls aren't even ninja! How the hell do they always manage to stay so
close on my tail? Do they have amazing fangirl powers or something?' he
wondered angrily as he ran.
He spotted an open window on the second story of a building close to the
street. He leapt up and into the building through it, instantly crouching
down and out of sight.
Turning around, it became apparent exactly whose room he has jumped into. Hyuuga Neji looked up from the book he had been reading and raised an eyebrow
slightly in a 'why the hell did you suddenly jump in through my window' gesture. Just then, the mob of screaming girls ran past on the street
below. The eyebrow lowered; question answered. Sasuke cautiously looked out the window to see if it was safe to leave. The sight that greeted him chilled his blood. The fangirls were spread out and some
actually appeared to be trying to sniff out his trail. The Uchiha ducked
back out of sight again and turned to face the room�s other occupant.
"May I lie low here for a while, Hyuuga?"
Neji nodded. He and the Uchiha weren't exactly friends, but he wouldn't wish
the fate that awaited him outside on anybody. "Since the situation is
extreme, yes."
Sasuke looked relieved. Keeping low, he moved further from the window. Neji
stood up and casually drew the curtains shut.
"Thank you," Sasuke said gratefully. Neji shrugged and walked back to his
chair. The sounds of the 'Sasuke-kun search' started to move away. Soon the
fangirls had dispersed, either to go home or search in a different area.
Sasuke sighed in relief.
"They've been chasing you a lot lately," Neji commented dryly.
Sasuke grimaced. "Yes, they have. They're relentless! I don't even know why
they chase me. Ok, I know why, but do they seriously think they stand a
chance?" Sasuke was quickly moving into rant mode. "Do I somehow give the
impression I'm interested? I think not! What are the first things a person
thinks when they see me?!" He directed the last part specifically at Neji,
who answered without hesitation.
"Brooding, mysterious, sexy, and amazingly gay."
"Exactly! How on earth did they manage to convince themselves that I'm
straight?"
Neji honestly had no answer. He didn't understand how they managed to delude
themselves that much either.
Sasuke seemed to calm down a little, loosing some of the tension in his
posture. He sighed. "More importantly, how do I get them to leave me alone?"
That was indeed the key question.
Neji pondered for a little while. "Perhaps they would stop pursuing you if
you managed to truly prove that you're gay and have no interest in them."
Sasuke's eyes widened. "That might just work! Only... how would I manage
that?"
Neji smirked slightly. "Here's how..." he leant close to Sasuke and spoke in
a hushed voice. Together they worked out a plan.

The next day, Neji and Sasuke walked into a very populated part of town. There were plenty
of people everywhere. More importantly, there were the fangirls. If you
looked very carefully, you could see that Sasuke was nervous.
"Are you sure this will work?" Sasuke asked quietly.
Neji nodded. "It will prove to them that you aren't straight for sure." A
slight smirk appeared for a brief moment. "It will also be fun."
Sasuke glared half-heartedly, but couldn't help mentally agreeing. They reached a particularly bustling part of
town and stopped. Neji leant in and caught Sasuke's lips with his. The kiss started slow but soom became more heated. Neji wrapped his arms around the lithe waist of the Uchiha, pulling him closer. In return, Sasuke wound his own arms around Neji's neck. When Sasuke's lips parted, Neji thrust his tongue into the other boys mouth. Passionatly, their tongues twined together in exploration of eachother. Neji's hands also started exploring, wandering up under the hem of Sasuke's shirt.
Soon they heard screams and pulled apart. There was a large crowd of girls
surrounding them. Some had fainted, some had burst into tears, others had
collapsed with shouts of anguish, and a couple were various combinations of
the three. About half, though, had an evil gleam in their eyes. A number of
girls who had never bothered the Uchiha before had also gathered, the same
gleam in their eyes. Something very troubling was that some of the new girls
held cameras, pairs of matching collars with leashes, chains, and other such
ominous items.
Neji's eyes suddenly widened in comprehension. "I think we made a critical
miscalculation," he said under his breath so only Sasuke could hear him.
Sasuke's eyes shifted nervously. "You don't say. Obviously it didn't deter
most of them. What on earth is going on?"
"We proved your point, but it seems we have attracted a far more dangerous
kind of fangirl in doing so."
An expression of shock flashed across the Uchiha's face. "A more dangerous
kind? What on earth have we attracted, Neji?"
They both tensed.
"Our actions have caught the attention of... yaoi fangirls."
The Hyuuga�s words barely had time to register in Sasuke's mind when a
silent signal seemed to go off. The fangirls surged forwards, squealing loudly. The
two boys took off at top speed, desperate to escape. A cry of "Bloody
fangirls!" was heard as they ran into the distance, a mob of the most deadly
kind of fangirl in existence chasing them.
