Matt was still running, barely dodging the sand worms. He created fire in vanrious places to keep them distraced enough for him to stay ahead, but it wasnt enough.
He came to a complete stop as he stepped on the edge of a big pit. At the very long bottom was molten lava. Demons alot of demons where being vanquished right above it, obviously being sent there on purpose. He couldnt remember the name, but knew it wasnt good. ((Seriously, I cant think of the name. Or at least not the ones the charmed world uses. It might be pergatory, or many the abyss. Im not sure.))
He looked behind him to see that the sand worms had also stopped. They could feel the danger too and where too scared to come any closer. There was nothing Matt could do. It was the pit, or the worms.
He looked down and saw some demon standing on a ledge. Evidentaly the demons that where being vanquished where having time to grab on to the walls where they could. Most where falling off, but this one had a strong hold on a safer spot.
"Hello? Who is that?"
"My, my, my. A fire-starter that is alive in the wasteland. Help me out of here and I'll tell you who I am."Matt didnt trust the demon, but had no other choice. He melted the sand together with his powers and lowered a long stick down to the demon to pull him out.
"Some power you got there. Pretty interedting that you would be out here, all on your lonesome....alive in the demonic wasteland. Tell me, how does a fire-starter like you manage such a...amazing feat?"Who are you."
"Little ole me? That's not important. What is important is that you and I help each other out to get out of this place."I'm listening."
"Good, good. Now, legend has it that the source had a...fear..... of being vanquished by those pesky charmed ones. He was so afraid he got the Seer to create a door out of the wasteland.""And you know where it is?"
"Yes. It seems that ironicaly the Seer's greatest fear was that the Source would actualy be able to get through the door, and in doing so let out the monsters that lived here."If she had the power to create it, why not destroy when the source was vanquished?"
"Ah...you are a smart one arent you? What the Seer wanted most was to live. She didnt care who was destroyed in the process of keeping her own life. She kept it there for herself, hoping the Source wouldnt be able to get to it."Alright then. Where is it?"
"Isnt it obvious? Where is the one place a demon would have a chance of keeping it's life in the wasteland, and where is the one place the monsters stay away from, and further more...whouldnt she want to put that door close to where she would end up? ITS HERE...at the ((Enter name of big pit here)).""I dont see any door."
He smiled. "Step back." He moved back and held out his arms. "Abra a porta do deserto de demonic, Abre o portão o vidente rasga!"The ground began to shake. The skys turned black. The clouds began swirling until they formed a tornado that touched the ground in between the two. The raging winds carved a line in the molten rock. Suddenly there was silence. A wall slowly rose from the crack. Finaly, there it stood. A ten foot tall door.
He motioned at the door. "Your not....afraid....are you?""Of course not...." He walked around the door a little. "How...how do we get in?"
"It takes a great amount of power to get through the door. That I have. But unfortunatly it also takes a strong force of fire." He smiled. "Why else would I have kept you around after you pulled me out?"Matt was becomming more and more worried. He didnt know what he would do.
"Before I do anything....who are you?"
