So I was hanging about in my school's library (painting a mural...) and I came across this little book called "Graphic Classics: Edgar Allan Poe" and guess what I found? Yup! an Illustrated comic-book version of Poe's classic "Masque of the Red Death" heart So naturally I scanned that portion to share with you all.

El Fin...
Personally I'm not exactly "elated" at the style, there are style a few things I appreciate like the inking style and the anatomy of figures, although the women look awfully manly (and what's with that "birdman attorney at law" costume?), and a few scenes done well, specifically the last frame on page thirteen, but generally I have the complaint I have with most comics...too much text crammed in and a not enough illustration supplied. I mean if they have like three or four paragraphs crammed into one page why even bother making it a comic book at all, single illustrations might as well do for all the good they're doing to for the work...Oh well, atleast it's still pretty to look at heart
