1up...never tried there.
I go to Gamespot/Gamefaqs when I want to talk about a certain game, but the level of intelligence is quite troubling. Try posting on the Halo forum. "HALO IS TEH BEST LOL" all down the topic list.
I love that we have nothing but sheer intelligence here. And Neo X-Death.The level of intellegence often suprises me.

I've been jumping from forum to frum fo rmany years, and Gaia is one of the only forums I've stayed on for a long period of time. Not because of the features, I don't use them, but because of the community.
Used to be on GameWinners, but the system of having so many sub forums is ridiculous. There's technically about five forums, 100s of sub forums.
Then there was this one a site focued on Nintendo FPS, which the admin got bored of so the members migrated to another forum that the admin's friend hosted.
This later moved, another moved, more moves everytime the admin had a new interest. Finally I just got bored with. Also the members just got iritating sometimes and no one was ever on.
And then there's a bunch of others, but one to three days of being a member I don't really think counts.
