Active killing vs. Passive killing
(A common defense to the bodily domain argument)
This argument fails for 3 reasons:
-By this logic, starving your born child would not be a crime, as it is a form of passive killing.
-Killing a rapist (or anybody) in self-defense,. no matter what the circumstances, would be punishable by law, as it would be a form of active killing.
-Unless the mother can't afford a clinic abortion or abortions are outlawed, the mother is not the one actively aborting. Such an operation would be left up to the abortion doctor. And by the logic stated above the mother would be charged with nothing, as she simply laid back and had the operation performed, and did not have an active hand in the abortion.
