As most have said, talking to the father is best but ultimately, what I do with my uterus is my decision. If guys know me well enough, they'll make sure they hold in their semen >/ 'Cause I am NOT having a baby.
Also, what Talon-Chan said was extremely clever. The whole "Father consent" issue, to me, seems like another way to give pro-lifers an advantage. A man can't force a woman to get an abortion, but he can force her to keep the baby? Rediculous.

Yeah. My fiance knows it's my choice... and he agrees with what we want to do beforehand- have an abortion if he's still in college.
We're not ready for children, so I refuse to have them. If he wasn't fully on board with that, we wouldn't be having sex. Period. If he didn't acknowledge it was my choice, we probably wouldn't be dating.

Personally if i ever got impregnated and wasn't sure if i wanted to be then yeah i would go to the father, tell him, and i might consider keeping it if 1: I got in some sorta legal contract that yes he's going to stick around and help with the kid show up to ballet recitals/little league/high school graduation ect 2: child support. he doesn't have to marry me, he just has to be there. but ultimately if i don't want the baby, im not having it
