whats your favourite disney movie or musical?

I don't want to sound mean or anything, but Anastasia was made by Dreamworks...
It has some really good music though, and it is much fun to point out historical inacurracies.
Of course, my favorite Disney was The Little Mermaid (musically).

We just did BatB this year as well, so I'm slightly biased. sweatdrop Growing up though, Mulan and Hercules were my favs. Which is ironic, since Susan Egan (Megara) played Belle on Broadway.

*rolls over and dies because Antastasia is on the poll, even though it was done by Twentieth Century Fox, not Disney*

I love every Disney movie made by disney except for Peter Pan. Don't really like that movie.

My favorites are probabily Lion King 2, The third Aladdin.. and yeah.. everything..

I saw the musical of Lion King and it was AWESOME. I loved it so much. But I couldn't talk about it with my family becasue they all complained about the people around them who were eating. I tried to explain to them that they had to turn off those sounds and focus on WHAT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE WATCHING... yeah.

I also saw Disney on the Record. Has anyone else seen that? It was pretty awesome. It was a collection of disney music and there was a story line that went along with it. There was no actual talking, so you had to kinda figure out the story line yourself through how the songs went.

The best was probabily Be Our Guest. They lowered a screen and a projector, and they had a clip of Beauty and the Beast of that song, and the singers sang the song, only it was in different languages. One person sang french, another sang german, and one sang japanese, and something else.. I don't remember. But then the last GGUUESSSSTT of the song, they showed a whole bunch of ways to say it on the screen. It was hilarious. Everyone in the crowd I think liked that the best.

I actually like Hunchback and Sleeping Beauty. They both have great music.

I have heard the Aladdin rumor too, but from what I understand it is NOT true. Some people I think because confused when the Aladdin DVD had a feature on the 45 minute stage show from Disney's California Adventure.

BUT "Trazan" the musical has been CONFIRMED! They are shooting for a Broadway opening late in the 2005-2006 season. There was an artical about it on Playbill.com

Personally, I think this one was a bad pick on Disney's part. Their are SO many movies better suited to be made into a musical.
