Look at the HP I just turned 78, and decided to get two sacrifice, and 1 Dragon Roar just to play with. Dragon roar at level 1 takes away 59% of your HP when you use it, and you have to have over half your HP to use it. I wasn't paying attention when I went and did roar, because a hacker came in while we were trying to get more slimes in the small pit (I had to do the small pit because Dragon Roar's range isn't very good at level 1 xD) so I rushed and did roar without seeing how much HP I had beforehand. Apparently that extra 9% shaved my HP down pretty close. razz It's a very spendy skill to play with, but I got a cleric at Florina beach and did Roar about 30 times in a row, apparently getting the cleric 3% total. xD

On a side note, do any Scanian Clerics want to heal me while I Dragon Roar random enemies? It's expensive to do with Elixers and Unagis. xD

At least, when you max it (If you're going to do that), you can cast it twice before you need a healing. Awesome skill for grouping enemies (Esp, the YNP, DYNP) if you have a priest with you. I love using it whenever I can. XD

But I might get Sacrifice first, just for a high-damage skill. ninja It's so tempting to start maxing it right away though. xD But Dragon Blood sounds nice. Edit: I'm 25% on my way to level 80 now. whee

Edit: I'm 25% on my way to level 80 now. whee Go ahead and get Dragon Blood. It adds +12 weapon attack when maxed. If you are going to be with a priest ALOT then Dragon Roar is fine to get after Dragon Blood. When the 3rd jobs came out, I was already in the level 80s so I had enough to do Dragon Roar so I maxed that first and plus I am with a priest all the time. That really helped at the Zombies, YNP, and DYNP. After DR, I worked on Crusher then Dragon Blood. Elemental Resistance is really good to have once you start training in Ludi. Doing DR alot on your own will be a big pot abuser. The deal with Sacrifice when it is maxed it only take 5% of your hp. It is fine if you're going against one enemy. But if you have a group you have to still with then Crusher/Fury. How you do your skills is up to you. My skills were done differently because I am with a priest 24/7. My current skill set is: 30 Dragon Roar 30 Spear Crusher 20 Dragon Blood 20 Elemental Resistance 5 Sacrifice 1 Spear Fury I am not maxing Power Crash since Dispel will do the same thing plus more. So, either Sarifice or Spear Fury will be maxed and the other one will be at 27 for me. I really don't have a need for Fruy at the moment so I am going put points into Sacrifice.

Thanks for the advice. biggrin
I'm a polearm Pure, so I'm afraid Crusher would be utterly useless for me. That's why I wanted Sacrifice, since a spear DK would pretty much win at Mushmom or Jr. Rogs and the like if I lacked any type of high damage skill. Other than that, Fury is doing 4k to 6 enemies at a time at level 23. So it's enough to bring the food to the table for now. ninja
I find myself begging Klad to get on her Cleric all the time, maybe I should go in search of a good Priest friend. Especially with going into my 80's and all. From the looks of it, I'll be training in the stronger stuff.
Here's how my build is so far. (With Roar thrown in the middle because I was tempted to say the least)
*3rd Job Adv [1 SP] +1 Dragon Fury (1) *71 +2 Dragon Fury (3), +1 Elemental resistance (1) *72 +3 Dragon Fury (6) *73 +3 Dragon Fury (9) *74 +3 Dragon Fury (12) *75 +3 Dragon Fury (15) *76 +3 Dragon Fury (18 ) *77 +2 Dragon Fury (20) +1 Sacrifice (1) *78 +2 Sacrifice (3), +1 Dragon Roar (1) *79 +3 Dragon Fury (23) 80 +3 Dragon Fury (26) 81 +3 Dragon Fury (29) 82 +1 Dragon Fury (30) [Max] +2 Dragon Blood (2) 83 +3 Dragon Blood (5) 84 +3 Dragon Blood (8 ) 85 +3 Dragon Blood (11) 86 +3 Dragon Blood (14) 87 +3 Dragon Blood (17) 88 +3 Dragon Blood (20) [Max]
The asterisks show what I've already applied. Maxing Fury that late kinda sucks, but Sacrifice has already been nice for Werewolf parties.

Hehe.
Sacrifice would good for you since it swings more than stabs. Just be careful with it when there are not many points to it. XD I was messing with it last night (It was at level 5) to see if I could knockback a GateKeeper and accidently got killed (Yay for satefy charms).
As for maxing Fury late. Don't feel bad, I maxed Crusher second. XD
You have a good build so far. I'm pure spear, but I tried to help you as best I could. XD
Finding a good priest friend would be good. Because in the 9x and up range, many people are looking for a priest and most of the priests want to team up with a Dragon Knight.

Hahaha, I know what you mean. Level 1 Sacrifice scared me when I first played with it. But right now it's one of those skills I usually save for a party with a Cleric. xd
Did you use Roar for training while you didn't have crusher maxed? surprised
You helped a lot, I wasn't sure what I was going to do but you set me straight a bit. razz When do you think I should max Elemental resistance? That's another skill that is pure awesome at level 1 (Sacrifice being another. xD)
I had a 116 priest the other day, but I think she was a mirage. She vanished while I was on the boat to Ludi and hasn't been on since. xD I don't think I'd want a 116 anyways, I wouldn't get much exp with that. ninja
Well, I'm off to get my last 8% for level 80! mrgreen

I used power strike and Dragon Roar at the zombies. It was perfect because my priest (Had maxed Holy Symbol at the time) could heal and teleport all over the screen and then I would keep roaring (Since he would heal me after 2nd DR), basically killing everything on the screen. It made training from 80-90 very nice. By time Crusher was at 12 or 15, I could one hit kill the zombies. So, when I was training solo at the zombies, it was just walking and attack without pause. Yeah, Elemental Resistance is awesome. If you're planning on training at the YNP (These are better because there are more than one YNP on the platfrom unlike the DYNP map) or DYNP at the level 90s then ER is not really needed. Dragon Roar would be great for the grouping. On the YNP maps, I could Dragon Roar in the middle of the platforms so by time I climbed to the top/bottom, the enemies that were hit are grouped up and ready for me. Here is an example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8i7vm0V8g3QAbout 2 minutes into the video is me and my boyfriend and you can see how I would use the Dragon Roar and you can see the grouping. You may not see it but it is hitting the enemies above and below me as well in that map. But if you're planning on trying to train in Ludi in the 90s then ER will be great to have then. I was near level 100 when Ludi came out so by time I was done with Dragon Blood, I started working on ER. At level 104 is when I was done with ER. Chances are when you start training in Ludi in the 100+ range, you will be at the Grims and ER helps there. Many priests will be willing to party with you there because the exp is great, you give hyperbody, and a chance for a Kage to drop. The main problem is alot of people are jumping on the bandwagon to be a Dragon Knight so many of the Priests getting taken. Plus Dragon Knights uses more pots than the other warrior classes because alot of our skills using hp, we can't knockback as much as the other twos, and we lack powerguard. So, in a way DKs and Priests are dependent on each other. (And other classes will b***h about Priests always partying up with DKs). I'm glad I was able to help. =3

Once again, thank you so much. =P I think I might get more Elemental Resistance while I'm maxing Sacrifice.
Now I really really want to find a priest. xD I must say, you two owned the most in that video.

You're welcome again and thanks. XD
We're always training together. Some people think training slow down, but it doesn't. In the long run, it will be great to party, and spilt a map. Awesome exp.
