Click MeAccording to amenbo it's coming out in December. 1/7 scale and 4975 yen which is about the norm for figurines like these. *Image taken from Amenbo for the purposes of convenience. Now I'm sick of Kotona figurines. However this one is superior to any made before. It's made by Max Factory rather than Yujin which is something of a surprise (pleasant) and the sculpt/build looks to be of higher quality than the SRDXs though there are a few odd sections. In particular the "muffin top" like bulge caused by those briefs is a bit unsightly. The lifepreserver is nice though, it makes for something different the the contrast and such the blue adds is somewhat pleasing. The "sharpness" of her waist is a bit miffing but could be ignored I guess. The amount of attention that seems to have been paid to places like her hair, face and the flower and such is pretty neat though. Overall I say it's not bad. It could've had a better subject and certain liberties could have been taken with it to make it more appealing but it's not bad. More than anything else though, it makes me wonder of what's to come now that a company-not-called-Yujin has stepped up to the plate. Who knows, we could get more figurines, some of which could be pretty cool.

Can't say I'm very fond of the figures. XD
WHY CAN'T THEY MAKE FIGURES OF THE MALE CHARACTERS?!
Not that they'd make the character I'd want anyways. crying
Kotona sure is popular. o_o;

Because, sadly, it's the pervy fanboys who are most likely to dish out big cash for fanservice. XD; SIGH.

Sagorambo GAH MY EYES. *burns it!* >_< Stupid female characters always getting stupid models. Why not the male characters? Snarrr.... >_< To be honest this is one of the best looking character figurines made to date. The quality of sculpt and detailing is above that of the previous Yujin SRDX figurines and it's very well made. Speaking of which, there's an SRDX Reese coming out soon as well. Botht he Kotona figurine and Reese figurine were pushed back though.

Oh, there isn't anything wrong with the quality, it's the amount of skin being shown that irks me to no end. Though, we are talking about me, a person who would have LOVED to live in the times when people would get arrested for strutting around in bikinis. So much skin.... should be burned.... *blinks* *feings not being a pyromaniac*

To me there's nothing wrong with the amount of skin being shown either. This figurine actually looks better than the image it was modelled after and it's nothing you wouldn't see if you went to the beach. Technically speaking a lot of her skin is being covered up as well due to the presence of her leggings :p Her proportions are far more correct than any other figurine released to date (Moonbay, the Taskers, Pierce, Naomi...) and the figurine itself is of high quality o_o
Really I think this just suffers from a stigma created by the lack of male figurines (though the ENTIRE figurine industry suffers from that) as well as the misproportionate figurines released before. This is MUCH better than say, most of the Yujin SRDX figurines, most of which were wearing full outfits.

And then she falls over, Ruuji laughs, and Ruuji spends the rest of the day running from her bird which she orders to peck him on the head...
I'd still rather she had more clothes on, but it's definitely a better sculpt. I'd love to see, say, characters leaning on part of their Zoid in a more interesting pose.

Jammer Lea Well, when you put it that way... XD She's nuts though. Wearing high heels to the beach. NO LOGIC. xd Yeh, I'm confident those are the exact same legging/boot hybrid thingies for her normal outfit which is in a word just weird. Those things are almost like three quarter pants in reverse.

If it was me, I'd be more afraid of tight-stretchy leggings trying to pull my underwear down.
However, I don't see that affecting Kotona. I'm sure she'd find someway to take advantage of the situation.
And yes, poses with their Zoids would be fun!
Ohhh... a Jin figure with a Rez Wolf. Haaaaawt...
