After disappearing from Ithibati back in the Mistweavers' land, Koda decided to return to the female he really had a crush on for months now. Walking for a few days was pretty rough on his paws, but he did it because he wanted to return to see Kati again. He really did like her a lot, and maybe the 3rd time was a charm? He really hoped she would let him stay this time.
Shruging, he padded his massive self up the steep hills, with no trouble at all, unlike his previous attempt when he came, which resulted in him falling over and hurting himself. The brown young adult was eager, so no obstacles would halt him from getting to the top this time around. Being mid afternoon, the sun was out fairly high, beating down on the land with a harsh heat. Shaking his mane, he grinned. The top seemed far away, but it was easily in view, reguardless of all the trees around.

The young adult lioness that Koda so desperately looked for for once /wasn't/ up on the mountain. In fact, to be quite certain she was climbing her ways towards it, having just run away from the third rogue she had met out in the wilderness. Despite that she had mentioned to the outsider to go away several times, claiming that she wasn't allowed to speak with anyone existing outside her pride, she couldn't help but feel as if Koti was still following behind. He had seemed clearly interested by her upon their meeting.
This drove Kita to a faster pace in attempts to reclimb to her home, her safety. Although it seemed abandoned, she felt positive that /someone/ from their old pride must have survived. All in good time.
Little did this white female know, however, that Koda, the first outsider she had met, was climbing just a bit ahead. Unfortunately, if she had known this small detail as she climbed, she would have taken an alternative route to get to the peaks of the mountain. But no. Instead she took the forward path, climbing up the steep rocky slopes. Oh how she missed the soft snow.. it always felt so nice between her paws. Not to mention it was hard to pick her out from the piles of white puff. That had always been a plus.
Amid her zoning and daydreams (she needn't watch where she stepped anymore, it was an automatic instinct from living on the mountain so long), she had barely noticed the brown figure in the distance until she'd nearly reached him, at which point she suddenly halted, snapping from her zone rather quickly. "Oh goodness.. back again? Oooh why can't he just go away.. I honestly didn't think the concept was that difficult to understand.. Is it that hard to not comprehend the idea of not being able to talk to the outsiders? Goodness me.." She began quickly, taking no time at all to alter her path and rather start towards the opposite side of the mountain, rather than merely climbing straight up from where she was currently located.

Koda padded along obliviously, although her scent was faint ... ... and moving? Blinking a bit, he turned back and spotted a white blob fade away quickly. He recognized her scent all to well. Grinning, he hopped onto the rock ahead of him, and turned to the side, chasing after her as fast as his chubby legs would carry him.
He saw her sillohette moving swiftly about, and decided to call out to her. Kita, why are you running from me? He sighed, and continued to follow her trail. He wasn't going to give up that easily.

The sudden voice was enough to know the poor girl over, and quickly she looked back. It wasn't exceptionally difficult to pick out the brown male amongst the tan and grey boulders and rocks, and in fact it gave her only more reason to move faster. So she had /two/ males chasing her now? Oooh.. why couldn't they all just.. leave her alone? Perhaps they took her running away and avoiding to speak to them as some sort of.. flirtacious act..? What strange ideas these outsiders had.
"What part of 'I can't talk to you' don't you understand..? Please just go away before we both get into trouble!" She called, not even giving a glance over her shoulder while speaking. Her tail gave a mild twitch while she halted, contemplating where to jump to next while her pink colored eyes searched. Ears quirked forward and she made a quick leap to a higher boulder, having little to no trouble landing on it before continuing on her way. She was tempted to stop and chat, however decided against it, perhaps just in case one of her own pride was watching, or rather spying.

The male ran faster, almost as if it was a challenge to see if the outsider could outrun the local of the mountain. Of course, he accepted it in a breeze, and flung himself from rock to rock. Because he was more heavily built, his muscles made his strides come easier, and before long he was catching up to her. Kita, why would you get in trouble? I've stayed in other prides before.
He sighed, and looked down as he continued to run. He wanted to say how he felt about her, but he felt like this was a bad time. Look, Kita, can I just talk to you? I've wanted to for a long time now. Do you really have to run? He gained enough speed to run along side her, he looked her way, almost giving a sad look in his eyes.

"Well this is different. It's not just /any/ other pride. So I reaaaally can't talk to you.. honest.." Kita stated shortly, avoiding looking over at Koda as much as possible. Males /must be extremely dense.. any female would have taken the hint by now.
However with a grand sigh of obvious frustration, Kita caved. "Aaaaargh.. fine! C'mon," She grumbled, irritable at the idea of having to sit through a speech from an outlander while she merely wanted to go up and sit in her comfy little den in the snow.
Kita had no problems at all locating a small cavern on the lower side of the mounttain-- surely no one from her pride would spy on her here..? Before entering, she made sure to glance this way and that until she finally slipped into the humid cave.

Koda smiled and followed behind her as quickly as possible. As soon as they were in the cave, he looked around.
Kita, I came back to see you. I want to join the mountain pride. This is because well, I really like you. A lot. I even gave up the chance to be with someone just to come here and see you. To stay here. He sighed and looked down. I know it sounds stupid, but I really like it here... ... the land is beautiful.
The male came closer to her, looking her in the eyes. He was trying to be as serious as possible, but it was hard with a lioness like Kita. She seemed to be crazy almost.

Once both lions had been inside the cavern, Kita looked to Koda hurridly, casting a 'well? hurry it up then..' sort of glance in the males direction. She listened with mild interest. She was sure it was difficult to have such an admittance to someone he barely knew.. and it was a cute tale, but hardly believable.
"It's adorable that you left someone to come here.. but.. come now.. how can you possibley like me /that/ much after only /glimpsing/ me three times? It's absurd." She contemplated, quirking a brow. However if he /did/ stay here, perhaps she would be free to speak with him..?
"You.. want to join the mountain pride..? Oh.. well.. see.. you have to be lighter in color.. and well.. you're darker. No offence, understand." She added lightly, coming close to feeling some pity for the rogue, although just barely. "So is that it, then?" She questioned, cocking her head.
