i've been a member for a while and i haven't posted anything here, i figured it was about time.

my fav thing to do lately is vector work in flash. most of these are avatar-related.
the next 2 images i did tonight. the oldest one is the zombie+ chuckiefromrugrats looking guy which is about 7 months old

i'm trying to start working more with backgrounds. i always have trouble deciding what to use for a background when i draw something. when it's a random character that doesn't belong in any specific place i am totally lost.
does anyone have any tips?

the next to last image was a set of banners i created of my ocs. they were all seperate images which i later compiled in photoshop.

and i have been looking for a program where i can do super-pixelated work [like ms paint but with layerring capabilities], does anyone know of any [preferably free] programs?

i think your backgrounds look fine. then again, my art is pretty much limited to vignettes. D:

this is a wip the finished piece - easy bkg because it's fanart of a game i played until i got arthritis
