The most expensive funeral so far was that of Alexander the Great. It'd cost about $600,000,000 in today's money. One of the reasons was the building of a road from Babylon to Alexandria, big enough move a jewel studded hearse the size of a small building which was pulled by 64 horses. . .

Here's a more expensive funeral (my idea, patent pending):
1. You die.
2. You are mummified, Egyptian style.
3. You are put into a solid gold coffin.
4. You are put into a rocket ship, to be burried in space.
5. A satellite is built in your honor, and you will be burried there.
6. Solar panels will be put on said satellite that will light your satellite cemetery, and the world's richest people are paid enough to visit you.
7. When Mars or the moon become inhabitable, the satellite will become a museum on either one and people can visit your dead body.
Now, that would be much more than six hundred million dollars.
Also, that is what I want my funeral to be like.

oh yeah just cuz when a pharoh died they didnt pay for it doesnt mean it wouldnt be spendy now days i mean theres no more slaves so i think the most exspensive was king tut and all his treasure
