With a last look at her parents and brother, Hikaru disappeared alongside Agamemnon, hoping to see them again soon, safe back home and without this mess to worry about.

Takara gently shook her head and turned his face back to hers, kissing him softly.
"Don't be silly. I want no one but you. I was just afraid you wouldn't want me back after..."
Looking away, she trailed off. The past few months were rather hazy to her. She couldn't remember exactly what had been done to her, but from what she could grasp, it was probably better for her sanity that she didn't recall everything.
"I would understand if you felt me no longer suitable for you..."

Tachi gazed into her perfect eyes through his tears. "The Terren laws are very clear on this matter. I am not to mate with you for a time suitable for you to be cleansed." He took a breath. A task made difficult due to the lump in his throat. "None of that matters to me. I love you. Nothing can stop that. Not all the demons in Makai nor the Eldar Council." He kissed her lightly on her lips. He gave a faint smile as he looked into her eyes once more. "Just don't leave me behind next time?"
