NostalgicArtist maybe. i'd like to see someone else do it though. Out of that list, i definately think Mr. Depp would be the best. Proved he can act crazy in Pirates, so hey : P

Johnny Depp can pull off anything, as long as he's having fun doing it, so I think he'd be perfect as the Joker. I mean, look at all of the other movies he's made a big success! 3nodding

jdepprox Johnny Depp can pull off anything, as long as he's having fun doing it, so I think he'd be perfect as the Joker. I mean, look at all of the other movies he's made a big success! 3nodding All his other movies were great. I havn't seen one movie of his that I dislike. Thats why he's my favorite, he can pull off any part perfectly.

as most of you said, JD is a pretty amazing actor and he could do it.
I hated Jack Nicolson as the joker. he wasnt crazy / scary enough and i hated him in that role.
I bet J. Depp will not be the joker though, i think it's a rumor. as is the rumor about Paul Rubens being the joker...

Anjeni as most of you said, JD is a pretty amazing actor and he could do it. I hated Jack Nicolson as the joker. he wasnt crazy / scary enough and i hated him in that role. I bet J. Depp will not be the joker though, i think it's a rumor. as is the rumor about Paul Rubens being the joker... It's not a 'rumor' it's more of the casting directors 'hope' so it is a possibility, but it's not like they have talked to him about it or anything. The list of actors I put up is just a list that whoever is making the movie would prefer to be the Joker, might not be any of them, depends on if they can afford to pay someone like J.D. or not. I know a few people in the guild love Johnny so thats why I put this up, it's just a cool idea to think about cause he would be an awsome Joker. And I totally disagree about the Jack thing. He himself is a scary and crazy looking person, and that smile! It creeps me out soooo much!!! He was perfect for the role back in his younger days, that creepy smile was perfect for the part of the Joker. What movie really upset me was Catwomen. Catwomen was saposed to be the all American dream girl! White chick with blonde hair, blue eyes. Halie Berri did the part great, but thats not how Catwomen is saposed to look! And besides, she plays Storm in the X-men movies. They shouldn't cast the same actor for 2 diffrent super-hero flicks. People already saw her as Storm when it came down to the Marvel movies so they shouldn't have had her play the part of Catwomen.

Since i don't know where you got your "cast notes" i would just view them as a rumor.

(unless he dose both, i guess thats possable mrgreen ) Oh yeah and he's also doing a movie with Nicole Kidman, a romantic epic.(Do'h! Ive forgotten the name. mrgreen )

The interview with him also said he was never contacted about doing a part in "batman" anyhoo...
