Ew.

So, apparently I'm the only one here who noticed that the album is incomplete?

Only about 3 or 4 songs have a complete beginning and end so that they connect through tracks. Others are just flat out incomplete. Songs end in the middle of held notes, the next one then begins abruptly, leaving the listener confused... I mean what the hell, dude?

Same goes with the drum tracks being lowered in volume for all songs. It's as if it wasn't enough that Theodore left, so the tracks were just lowered. Sure, I hear it's just them trying to get a "new sound and style," but most of the time, you can only faintly hear the drums. And no, that's not done intentionally through use of dynamics.

All in all, I'm 50/50 with this album. I mean, I liked the songs and the chill feel that some songs had, but dude... it's a ******** incomplete album. Worst part of all: they sold it at full price, where as FTM was only $8 and it was complete. The first and last song end pretty much the same way. On a held bass note while the horn instrument is playing, and _____. That's it. Just an abrupt end. And it didn't even end in time with the song, so you know it wasn't done intentionally.

In short, Omar blue-balled us all. The result: Amputechture.

Geezus Cristo.
You Must Have BAD Ears.
I Agree With You In Some Of It.
The Abrupt Stuff.
It Resumes Somewhere Else.
Pretty Like King Crimson.
They Just Tried to Go A Little Step Ahead.
With A Worst Drummer.
Just Because they Sold it 12$ and
FTM at 8$
Wow Greatest Difference.
Last Song On Frances is the Same Intro As The First.

Complete Or Incomplete Or Just To be Continued
This s**t Is Great.
It doesn't resume anywhere else. I brought up the cost for the principle of the matter, which would be how a complete album costs less than a blue-balled one. As for the Frances intro/outro (Sarcophagi), your arguement has absolutely nothing to do with anything. Why? Because they used the same song for a reason. It was supposed to correspond with the events in the story the album was telling. They even had it as a lower volume as the intro than the outro for the same reason. It's all just to emphasize the story being told. Why would volumes affect it? Ask them yourself. As for Amputechture, it remains incomplete. If it were to be continued, it wouldn't have had THAT much an abrupt ending. They would of done what they did with Frances, and continue the same song to show the connection. Point is: Omar blue-balled us with this one.
