Ginger Snapple In the Fushigi Yuugi anime, sometimes I had to cover my eyes for Miaka and Tamahome's love scenes sweatdrop It was ok on paper but with their corny english voices I was like "AHHHHHH" That's why I have sworn off dubs and watch everything in subbies... wink

Ugh, I hate dubs. They're the reason why Spirited Away ended up so bad for me! My mom insisted on seeing it in English and it was just overflowing with corniness (near the end).
And oh yeah, the whole thing with Ron and Lavender was definitely out of nowhere confused

Magic Toast You know what pissed me off? When Rowling just slap-shodded Ginny and Harry together with sticky tack. What. The. Frick. Ginny was COMPLETELY irrelevant in the entire scheme of things. If you subtracted Ginny from book six, everything would have been exactly the same, save for the sexual tension (which would be considerably less...tense). Not to mention the entire scene where Ginny throws herself at Harry was stupid. *ahem* "I can't be involved with you anymore. We've got to stop seeing each other. We can't be together." *insert stupid, cheesy romantic lines, very little action, poor development...* "...He'll know, he'll find out. He'll try and get to me through you." "What if I don't care?" Oh, gag me. Definitely.. I never liked Harry and Ginny.. the idea of them together never clicked for me. They also never had any romantic moments, then suddenly.. it's over and I start deciding that Harry has no brain.

Wendy_Chan *dies laughing* Lion King II: Kiara: "My father said there was a darkness inside Scar that he couldn't get rid of..." Kovu: "Maybe... there's a darkness in me, too." My friend Suzie started screaming at the TV screen. Worst. Lines. EVER. XD that movie was like Romeo and Juliet only Kiara and Kovu didnt die.

Have you every noticed that in disneys the prince and princess are always good looking? Even when the main characters are animals, they manage to have sex appeal. I mean seriously...why do the animals have mascara on????

Autumn Sin Have you every noticed that in disneys the prince and princess are always good looking? Even when the main characters are animals, they manage to have sex appeal. I mean seriously...why do the animals have mascara on???? Obviously the main characters have to be hot though, otherwise no one would really like/watch the movie. And it's cause sex sells. The Beast was seriously hot though...but when he turned into a man, I somehow found him ugly...

If the whole point involved her learning to love him as the Beast anyway, why not leave it that way? He looked much more intriguing as the Beast, and it took away layers from the romance they had built up. Although, I'm sure everyone much preferred being humans to being cutlery and furniture... wink I have to admit, however, that it is one of my favourite Disney movies anyway.

Oh, gag me. For once, I agree with you. I was a Harry/Luna shipper, and though I just sighed and admitted defeat with book 6, even when I was reading it for the first time at about 3 in the morning, I thought the whole thing seemed to be like badly written fanfiction...with Rowling flair, of course. I think it was a poorly written fanfiction. I think that Rowling was assassinated, and someone made themselves look like her while writing the sixth book. It's all a huge scandal! Rowling will come back from the dead, write the real sixth book, and everyone will be happy! Death to the imposter! There is a flaw in your theory, Toast. If it was poorly written fanfiction, Ginny and Harry would have hawt secks, and Ron and Hermione would finally get together. Plus, you'd probably get your Sirus/Remus ship after all. And Dumbledore wouldn't die, or he would come back from the dead. Therefore, not poorly written fanfiction so much as it wasn't Rowling's shining moment. Maybe the Poor Fanfiction Author was trying to put a delay on the relationship? Perhaps the Poor Fanfiction Author does not like Dumbledore, or slash? Perhaps the Poor Fanfiction Author is a STUPID TWELVE YEAR OLD. *stabs self in eye* Hey... I'm twelve.... sad (13 in May but whatever).

I yelled "What the hay?!" and my sister laughed and said "You're at that part already?" I hate it. Ugh.

This describes my reaction to Wuthering Heights, which we had to read for English. The first half of the book is okay, and could have been the whole story within itself and turned out okay, but the second half...
W...T...F? rolleyes It made me gag more than I do when I read Romeo and Juliet (Which I also consider is given far too much praise when the actual storyline sucks...Only Leo and the old 1968 version pulled it off well).
