1) Go to the man who had to much coffee in Viridian City, when he says if you are in a hurry say no, he will teach you how to catch pokemon. Then go to Cinnibar Island, surf on the eastern shore going up and down so you are half on land, half on water. You will soon find pokemon that shouldn't be there. Once you find Missingno, the sixth item in your pack will multiply to infinite. You can catch any of the pokemon you find in this glitch except Missingno.
