I'm not all that great with remembering things that aren't well-known.
But huzzah for being right!

Yes, you're right. And that one is Send In the Clowns from A Little Night Music, unless I'm very much mistaken.

Here's one that SB fans should know.
"I saw your face and I ascended Out of the commonplace, and into the rare"

Okay, was that one too hard? New show then.
"I can dance a tango, I can read Greek -- easy! I can ride a dragon any old week -- easy!"

I must not be good at picking lyrics. Okay, new lyrics, COMPLETELY OBVIOUS ones so we can just move on. "Cover does a moonlight flit?"

We're not all as savvy as you, Ela. I try...but building lyric knowledge takes a while. xD
Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera. Notes, to be specific. Isn't that the edited lyrics though? I only remember it because I was reading through the libretto on a fan site when I first saw the show and I was like "hey...that's not what my cassette says. ;___;" It confused me for a while.

Phew. Thank you, Phantomette. I dunno, my lyrics are either too hard (from oldies and the like) or too easy (everyone's seen it).
Your turn.
By the way, the first one I posted was from Kismet and the second was from Anyone Can Whistle. Both off a 5-CD set I got called "Broadway: The American Musical".

I've listened to a few oldies, but lyrics just never stay with me too easily, unless I listen to something so many times that it's engraved into my brain. x_x
Um...this ones pretty easy. And from the funniest musical I have ever seen in my entire life.
"I remember paddling a little red canoe, And I remember love... At least I think I do."
Edit: Well blehhh on you all. Here's a hint: Mrs. Tottendale sings it. xP
