Although sabi nga nila malaya na tayo "on paper".... naiwan parin ang kolonyal na pag-iisip ng mga pilipino at somehow meron paring mga sahdowy figueres na nagpapatakbo sa gobyerno...

pero, what the heck.... mabuhay ang pilipinas!!

hindi na naman maaalis yung bahid ng kolonyalismo ever sa pilipinas eh. i don't think it's still feasible...or else we'll go back to being IP's, which is great too, but in reality...dream on. it's sad crying

blame it to the 'mananakops' specially spain .. if not because of them we should have focused our knowledge in improving our country rather than keeping us busy thinking of how to regain back what is ours... scream

i disagree. i don't blame them for our colonial mentaly. they influenced it but we made the decision ourselves. i don't know, i just don't want to think about the past and blame it on what happened then when we can't do anything about those things now. i want to think about the future and how to slowly make it right.

Sa tingin ko lang... Atleast ibinalik ung indepenence day sa june 12 imbis na july 4 dahil sa former date ang talagang nakalaya tayo. only to be under a new imperialist after a few days...

sa tingin ko ung sa kastila classical dahil sa kapalit ng pagiging kolonya natin meron pa silang responsibilidad na protektahan at paganahin ang ating ekonomiya. ang ngayon naman ay neo-colonialisim na magkaparaho parin (sila ay kumikita sa atin) ng walang responsibility na tayo ay tulungan in any way...

(share ko lang ung ibang insights na natutunan ko sa Histo 1...)
