I love D20 BESM (well, any BESM version) because it has a unique system of Attributes and Defects that makes it possible to create characters like the ones in your favorite anime, movie or TV show. The character creation process is a point-based building process, allowing for a large variety and amount of customization. It works (and is designed) for ANY genre, time-period or setting you can think of. It also fixes a lot of problems and holes the normal D20 system has.
