Kate and Jack are walking next to each other, shooting furtive glances that say, 'Hah, I got the dynamite,' and, 'Hah, I ACTUALLY got the dynamite.' Or possibly, 'Let's get down and do it right here,' and, 'Too bad Sawyer isn't here.' Anyway, I think there's a sound and they both look toward it. Jack can't believe what he sees, it's a floating black smoke cloud thing! And it floats away very quickly. He looks at Kate like, please tell me you saw that. And Kate says she saw it too. Of course, we assume they saw black smokey cloud floaty ghost things too. To me, it looked like a weird shadow. It was like...there was a shadow of a bird, then there was another odd shadow and the leaves kinda warped around for a split second.

incatata MeriThranduiliell Aardvark! xd No, really, I think it's a personification of the fears of the people who encounter it. thats what every body in my house is thinking including me pirate Yeah, i think the same, i don´t prescily what it is, but the mosnter somehow takes the form of fears of the characters, always in black, like the horse, the brother of ecko and the father of jack. Tha´s for sure

malissgray i'f heard lots of ideas about what it could be... *a dinosaur *a robot *imagination of the lost characters *giant bird ....well there are more but they make even less sence the those ones... watch,listen,know.I think it's the smoke.My brothers told me it was something else but I forgot.
