I actually went to a Christian Camp when I was younger (And not saved or a Christian really, had no clue about God and Jesus, etc.) I was 10 and they put me in the teens cabin because of room issues. Everything was black and white to me also then. Well, that night's campfire discussion was on basically girls wearing proper clothing around males. The entire cabin (consuler included!) decided to run half naked over to the boys side of camp. I was horrified and kept repeating "God will punish us!" and imaging lighting striking us down. I hid in my bed for long hours mumbling about punishment. (I didn't know what "punishment" ment, so I just assumed it was like TV where a lightening bolt strikes you down!)

I went to C.I.Y (Christ In you) Church camp. It was amazing, well heck there will never ben enough works to fully say how amazing that week was. I went last month for a week. If you ever get a chance to go to one of their camps GO!
Thanks to that week, I worked through alot of emotions problems I have been pushing aside for years now. I have been so much better since then. It was just amazing by far. So Yeah GO if you get the chance.

Over the years I've been to may Christian camps. When I was a child, my parents used to ship us all off (religiously, hehe) to a camp called the "Children's Bible Crusade" every Christmas holidays. It was there, at about the age of seven years old that I first gave my life to Jesus, and also was Baptized in the Holy Spirit. I also learnt to be able to quote the order of all of the books of the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, at those camps, by about age 8 years old.
Apart from that, I've been to Church family camps, outreach camps, retreats, and "special" camps. The most recent one that I went to was a "special" camp. I went along with my wife, Honor. She has a permanent disability, and this camp was being run by the "Christian Ministries With Disabilities Trust (CMWDT)" where a whole heap of Christians with disabilities got together. It was a very interesting time.

I go to a Christian camp during the summer, but the only 'Christian' thing we do is sing a prayer before we eat. I like that though, because that way we get so many people from other faiths to come to our camp. ^_^
