Hello, and welcome to the Vanguardian News Network. I am Kinax Zef'iere.

And I'm Feina Logarth. We bring you live footage of major events in the universe to your home.

Now for our first news. In the firing range of Grand Vanguard, there was a pirate raid on a light-weight mech. The Security Service believe that these pirates are getting past the security with a use of Cloaking Devices, hiding their ships from our sight as well as sensors.
Security Service A
I'm not sure how they have gone past the ID Security System, as well as all of us and the security robots, but even as we speak, we are seeking out the whereabouts of these pirates.

Due to the countless raids from pirates, the security level of Vanguardian Colonies have gone up to level 4, where the docking processes of the colonies have become longer. We have also asked Governor Trufeld about the situation.
Locke Trufeld
I understand that there are spies within the colonies, but it is near impossible to seek out these spies, in these highly populated colonies. However, we may stop their movements with tightened security, and even as we speak, the technicians are working on stronger sensors to bypass even the strongest frequencies of pirate cloaking devices. I would also suggest that all freighter pilots should atleast hire a fighter pilot as an escort when travelling in space. The spy activities may highten the risks, but with the enforced patrol ships, pirate raids in space should go down to a minimum, if not, stopped.

Come back later for our next report on our advancements in Mech Technology. A new type of beam? An explanation from Professor Eldform on this advanced technology after these messages.
PostPosted: Sat Sep 04, 2004 10:46 pm

Welcome back to VNN News Broadcast. Now our next news, Professor Eldform has introduced the Mech Technicians the new type of Beam called, "Anion Laser". Here is the interview we had with Professor Eldform at the Mech Technolgy Lab.

Professor Eldform
This is the newly discovered energy of Anion Lasers. This new technology can be used to make perhaps stronger Beam Sabers or Beam Rifles, with about the same amount of energy use. This form of beam creates a huge concentration of energy, which forms the Anion Lasers from it's surrounding atoms. Because of this strong concentration of energy, the power is high, compared to those of the average beams, and is more destructive.

Now it is believed that they are beginning the processes of producing these AL Sabers and AL Rifles for use for most mechs, but is still currently under testing, and is under debates of whether if heavy weaponry license is necessary for this technology. Critics urges this license requirement, claiming that it would be dangerous when pirates may obtain this technology.

Now it is time for our Sports Portion of our News with our reporter, Lay Giev.

Sports News LIVE
Hello! This is Lay Giev at the White Phantom Docking Bay. I am here with Racer Pilot, Partisus, who has entered the upcoming Space Race, sponsored by the Golden Phoenix Casino. Sir, do you have any comments on the upcoming race?

Partisus: We have a lot of good racers enterring the race. I'd highly recommend watching--it should be a great show.

Do you know any of these racers? Any messages you'd like to give them?

I don't know any of them personally, but I expect all to perform to the best of their abilities. An victory not earned is not a victory at all.

How do you feel competing in this Grand Prix?

Pretty excited, I suppose. I'm always looking for a good challenge.

Finally, do you have any messages for other racing fans out there?

Whoever wins, I can assure you that this is going to be an amazing race.

Thank you, Partisus. Now that's all the time we have for you all today. See you at the Race!

Good Evening, Vanguardians. I am Feina Logarth.

And I'm Kinax Zef'iere.

And you are watching the Vanguardian News Network. For our first news, there seems to be a Fashion Show within our colonies right now. They are now accepting models to participate in the Fashion Show at the moment, and they currently have only a few models right now. They will be starting the Fashion Show whenever they reach ten models.

In other news, let's go to Lay Giev for our Sports with one of the largest events taking place right now, Space Racing!

Sports News LIVE
Hello, this is Lay Giev of Sports News LIVE, and we are here with Arcainth Eivand, the racer that have placed first place in the first race here in Avantgarde. Arc, how do you feel on making first place in the first race of this Grand Prix?

Arc: It was great when I had realised that I won first place. At first, I didn't think I was going to win, but when I saw that chance there, I went straight for it.

It seems like you are the only one that chose the Methus, while everyone used the F-29 in the race. Any particular reason why?

I mainly liked the design. F-29 was too round for me.

Background
Robert: *Waves at the camera from behind them with shout-outs.*

Hey, I'm on TV! Hey, Dark, Sas, are you watching?! We're on TV!

Frank: Hey, lemme get in there!

*He jumps onto Rob, and hogs the open space in the back as he waves at the camera.*

Aaaah! *Rob pushes him off.*

Ward: Yo, get back here! Help me work on the maintenance!

Would you like to make any comments about how you've won?

Yeah, I would like to say that I probably wouldn't have made it here without people like my friends back there.

Background
Yeah! Go us!

Hey, they're watching us now..

*Barges in and pushes the other two to the Methus.*

Alright, I'm done with my job, now it's you guy's turn.

Alright, and finally, do you have any messages for your fans out there?

Thanks, people, and keep watching!

Thank you, Arc! Have a safe Grand Prix! Back to you, Kinax.

Emergency Broadcast

We are sorry to interrupt your program to bring you important news. This just in, the governors of the 4 Vanguardian colonies have agreed to declare war against the Renegades, that have recently attacked Mythril Legion. Security Patrol levels among Vanguardian space will be brought up to ensure the safety of the colonies. The government will also be checking all citizens for their identification cards via security scans by the Security Services.

It is highly advised for all citizens to stay within the colonies, and not to leave Vanguardian Space where patrol fleets will not be able to aid you, as there are higher risks of enemy attacks and war zones.

Here are other events related to the happenings of this war.

Events of War
The Space Race will be cancelled due to the war.

Technicians, Mechanics, and Engineers are to be gathered in Avantgarde to advance technology research.

All Military Members are to report to Mythril Legion by December 5. .

Inter-colony transportation schedules have been altered.

If you have any questions or comments, please contact us at the OoC Vanguardian Discussions Thread. We will return with more news after this.

And we're back on VNN News. I'm Feina Logarth.

And I'm Kinax Zef'iere. Here, we have some LIVE footage of the Renegades War in a system close to Avantgarde, where our Vanguardian Defense Fleets are holding off the enemy vessels, but for how long? Right now, supplies for the war are being gathered to Mythril Legion for the Defense Fleets to restock for a quicker recovery for the war, but with trade rates going down from other planets, we may be encountering a shortage on materials. The government is now hiring pilots to transport cargos of materials and equipments for Mythril Legion, although it may be a dangerous mission with the battles taking place on Vanguardian Boundaries.

Also in the news, it seems that the Pirates are taking the advantage in our position, and have often been spotted, raiding the cargo transports, which makes that mission Kinax explained an even more dangerous mission. For those that are taking these missions, we highly suggest hiring escorts to protect yourselves from these pirates when travelling outside our boundaries.

This is VNN News Broadcast, the evening edition. I'm Kinax Zef'iere.

And I am Feina Logarth, here to bring you news on the election for the Governor of Vann Sky.

Well, the votes have been tallied and the results are in. Former Governess Vicki had 48% of the votes, while candidate Zeronic had 51%. Now that our new Governor has been elected, Governor Zeronic will be putting his plans on public safety moving for the citizens of Vann Sky. Note that the poll results are rounded to the nearest integer, therefore it may not be accurate.

For other news, General Kujaviak missing? It has been reported a while back that the General of the Vanguardian Military Forces have gone AWOL after declaring war against the Renegades. Even now our military forces, including innocent trader ships, have been under attack of the Renegades, along with continuous pirate raids. General Kujaviak has been marked as the Most Wanted Fugitive out on the run, and his location has been lost after flying into a battle scene. Governor Trufeld has just appointed Ander_Cypher, a military genius, for the next General of the Vanguardian Military Forces.

Tonight on VNN, angry gamblers demanding their money back? With the speech of former Governess Vicki, stating that another Golden Phoenix Casino to be built in Vann Sky, the gamblers worry about their post-poned race money would be used for this cause. Find out more after these messages.

Welcome back, I am Feina Logarth.

And this is Kinax Zef'iere, and you are watching VNN News Broadcast. This just in, Governor Trufeld has left us a message saying that the Vanguardian Axis will be forming an alliance with the Aurorans in the war against the Renegades.

Locke Trufeld
Fellow citizens of Vanguardian Axis, this is Locke Trufeld, the Governor of Grand Vanguard, as well as the leader of the Axis. It has come to my attention that this war may be a greater threat to us than our defense fleets had expected. With the Renegades' sheer number of forces against us, we are at a slight disadvantage. However, I, as a leader, will be leaving the Axis to ask for help from our neighboring systems in order to fight back for our safety. I understand that my absence in the Axis may be dangerous, but I believe in our new General, as well as the other Governors of the Axis, to be able to stop the Renegades from advancing during my short trip.

A sudden decision made by our leader, but will his absence affect this warfare drastically? In a few minutes, we will cover the details in what our citizens think about the events of this war. We will return on VNN News Broadcast.
