Within the throng a single man seemed to blend into the crowd, an elderly gentleman fitting in perfectly with the streets. The soft tap of format black dress shoes was lost in the rush that surrounded him, the darkness of his form lost to the night as his black business suit accented his frail looking form in a distinguished air. His hands were drawn behind his back, clasped together, carrying no bags despite the fact it was so near the holidays.

As he glided down the sidewalk he paused, eyes shifting to one side with a glance to the alleyway.In such a throng eyes were cast all around or blindly ahead. This unique pair lay set on scanning the crowd, this much was clear, such a study of those around could cause others to tip their hand. A single facial expression could speak volumes, and the eyes spoke from the soul, or whatever was closest as a replacement. Stepping from the throng his hands were hidden behind his back, fingers sliding up into his dress shirt and laying upon a pair of Fours branded in his left arm.

His face was stoic, all emotion drained away to a focus of such intensity that getting a read on the man was impossible. About him was such an aura that his nature was merely indescribable. The feel in the air was off, almost as if something was about to transmire, something hardly in the spirit of Christmas.
