Repeated or intentional violation of the rules will result in your immediate removal from this RPG.
I reserve the right to remove anyone from this RPG at any time, for any reason.
.) Follow the rules. I consider this rather simple, and its implications broad. Breaking one rule automatically means you're breaking two, which I consider a rather unhealthy development for your status in the RP.
.) No Godmoding. Since we're dealing primarily with magic here in the guild, this is especially important. If you don't understand this rule, DON'T JOIN.
.) Swearing, Racism and Sexually Explicit Material. Obviously this is not the 50's, and I don't expect you to pretend like it is. Swear if you need to, or if your character's attitude calls for it. But don't just start spouting profanity because you feel like it, and don't use anything stronger than the F-word. As for the second one -- no excuse. Concerning the third, this is a PG-13 forum. Act like it. Nothing detailed, no masturbating, and if it starts heading in an R-rated direction, take it off of Gaia. If you disobey this rule in any way, YOU WILL BE REMOVED.
.) There is a minimum of six sentences per post. But creativity makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, so feel free to use your brain a bit.
.) If you don't have time to fill out the character sheet completely and properly, don't bother joining. I don't want to see anything like "sorry I was rushed!" or "I had to get off the computer really fast!" at the bottom of your PM, or it's into the Recyle Bin for you my friend.
.) To the same token, members are required to post at least twice a week. Again, feel free to exceed this minimum. But if you can't make at least two posts a week, you don't have enough time to be roleplaying.
.) Don't argue with me or other players, unless you really, really feel you're justified. Play nicely please, and when I say "my decision is final", I'm not playing word games. =)
.) You are allowed three characters. If you kill one character you will be allowed to replace them with another, and there is no limit to how many NPCs you can create/use.
.) No flaming, spamming or bumping. This one's pretty obvious. If somebody's flaming or spamming, bring it to my attention. Their posts will be deleted and they will be removed. If you're bumping...this is a guild. How many neurons did you say you had again?
.) Do not ask for the link to this guild. This is less of a rule, more of a survival tip, since it really ticks me off when people do this. Not only is the link in my signature at all times, but there is a section of the Gaia map that says "Guilds". On this page there is something called "My Guilds", which is a listing of all the guilds you're currently a member of. Short of a small meteor hitting the Gaia servers, you can never lose the link to this guild. If you ask Kuri for the guild link, she will hit you very hard with a painstick and tell you to go find it yourself. There may also be obscenities involved.
.) No immortal characters. If you can't die, you can't play.
.) No half-angels, half-demons, half-vampires/cat person/fairy/your pet dog. Just...don't do it, OK? It's way over done, annoying, and extremely uncool. It will also get your appplication placed snugly in the Recyle Bin.
.) Race and Organization Behavioral Authenticity. What does this mean? This means that if you work for Chrest, you don't go skipping about humming a happy tune and hugging Celestials. Likewise, if you're a vampire, you don't wear a Hawaiian shirt and serve cocktails at a local singles club. The only time this rule doesn't apply is when you're using the Freelance Roleplay Thread--in there, anything goes, no matter how surreal.
.) Keep up the quality. Sometimes I get people who are really fantastic. Their sample posts are superb and they really keep up the quality. But then after awhile, once they start to get a little bored or busy, their roleplaying quality drops dramatically, and it stays that way for a very long time. This is very irritating, depressing, and is generally bad for the RP. If I see that you are doing this for a prolonged amount of time, I may ask you to leave. I'm not expecting novels or essays, but if you honestly don't have the time to put at least a little work into your posts, you shouldn't be roleplaying.
.) Post which RPG your thread is for in the subject line! A simple "TSW" or "HD" at the beginning of your thread's subject will do fine. I just need to know which threads are for which RP.
.) Have fun! Or else. xd
