Jettrick Cow_Demon HappyBanana Quote: 'Tell Rose.......tell her.......Oh she knows' I get the feeling that you guys are miss misenterpreting what the Doctor meant. I seriously doubt that the Doctor loves Rose in that sense. He was probably going to tell her the same thing he said when he sent her home in Parting of Ways. that's why he said "Oh, she knows." I dunno. I think it actually does have some kind of deeper meaning. Becuase whenever somthing of that subject comes up, it's always quickly averted. I dunno. *shrugs* Maybe that's because it's morraly reprehensible on so many levels? Could be. Or Maybe we're just thinking about it way too much. XD

I agree with HappyBanana. I don't think he's just gonna say "Rose I'm madly in love with you." It's probably nothing to do with that. It's probably "Rose, if you get back to the TARDIS, don't hit the big green button with the three yellow dots on. It's really, really dangerous." or "Rose, you really need a new haircut." or perhaps - slightly more likely - just "Rose, it's been great travelling with you."
I'm busy listening to the 8th Doctor audio dramas at the mo and it's kinda funny cos the companion in them has just got round to saying "I love you Doctor" and he basically says the equivalent of "So?" xd I just had to laugh after all this stuff in the new series about saying "I love you."
Of course he doesn't really mean it that way cos it's all part of the plot and things (or perhaps he does mean it... I haven't got that far yet...) but it's all the same issue. And to be honest, whether he falls in love or not, I don't really care. Because I know it won't work. I just want to see the monsters and the adventures! I really hope that this latest episode just sorts the whole business out and moves on.

I hate Doctor / Rose pairings. I think he was going to say that he loves her like family - not like a lover.

Wow. And I mean it. Wow. I think that was easily the best episode in Seriese 2 so far. It was just amazing. It was such a good story line... and finally something the Doctor really doesn't know! And the cool thing is he was willing to accept that. The thing with "Tell Rose... tell her... Oh, she knows." Well, I loved that. It was so sweet! That was such a good way to leave it... and although I'm sure it wasn't meant this way, it's going to give 10/Rose shippers something to write ff about. *sigh* And I'm glad that atleast a few people survived. But the entire thought of The Beast is really creepy. But very interesting. There usually is some sort of original fact to almost all legends. And that was great how the Doctor called he and Rose legends. biggrin I really hope the Doctor and Rose meet up with the three survivors in some later episode. That would be really cool. But defintley one of my favorite episodes. Poor Ood, though. They only wanted to serve. Atleast they were given honors, individually. That was really nice.
I LOVED the music so much though. Those violins were amazingly fitting. Now, not only do I want a sountrack with Song For Ten and the Bad Wolf Theme, but I also want it to include the background music for this episode. I want to rewatch it again just for the music... 3nodding

I want to rewatch it again just for the music... 3nodding Seconded. They've certainly gone away from the original idea, where it was not so much background music as background noise. I think Song for Ten would do very well if it were released, even if only as a downlload. How I'd love to hear *that* make its way up the British pop chart smile I also envy my friend, who won a soundtrack CD many moons ago. It has some fantastic remixes of the theme - like the Terror Version and the Spoons version (featuring one Sylvester McCoy on spoons!)... DW

A soundtrack would be awesome, *thinks of the music for Father's Day* It would probably top all the sales lists in the UK! Wait, if it would be as popular as we think why hasn't the BBC done it already?

Because the music's probably made by a number of different people and would cost like ten times more to produce than your average generic pop CD <.<
