I just read in another thread that most girls get their period when they hit 105lbs. I'M BARELY 82lbs! What will I do, will I just have to wait until I get taller and gain more weight, or do I push it along? gonk

No need to rush anything. Your period will come when it does. My friend started it when she was 14. She's super light, she only weighs like, 95 pounds or something. Everyone is different, and there is no specific anything in puberty. 3nodding

First I must say that you don't have to be at least 105 pounds to get your period. Most girls just do. There is not "magic" weight when you get your period. You must be heavy enough to support a baby if you were to get pregnant. At 82 pounds, you are too light.
And don't be worrying about your period. It's normal not to have it, even by your sixteenth birthday (anything past eighteen, and you should see a doctor). And, as a female that is almost fifteen and who has had her period for a year and a half, having your period is not fabulous. Especially when you are tiny (5'3", 120lbs) and have a heavy flow like I do so you have to wear bigass pads that still manage to stain your underwear (even the huge pads don't cover everywhere). So I'd say thank god that you don't have blood spewing out of your v****a.
I'm sorry if I sound like a b***h, but you can blame the fact that I'm surfing the crimson river here myself.
