Oh you poor poor thing... I did Latin GCSE..... The Latin Vocab is one thing, learning the prose and poetry and grammer off by heart is QUITE another!!
And don't forget the background stuff!

But don't worry too much I guess, just don't go slack on the learning vocab part. The background isn't too bad as long as you know at least a couple of topics really really well the rest you can sorta just run over just in case the topics you did learn is completely evil!

The prose I thought was really difficult to remember off by heart! Argh! I had to learn about 600 lines of the stupid story and then talk about the language and background points! The poetry isn't soo bad. The thing is to just keep reading and re-reading it and learn it paragraph by paragraph.

Good Luck with the Latin. biggrin My theory is if I could manage GCSE Latin, anyone could because I was really quite lazy with my Latin learning! 3nodding

The teachers at my school are too stupid to teach Latin sweatdrop French and German are their limits.
They used to teach Chinese when my brother went there. I wonder why they stopped... *ponders*
