Buster (Hits 3 enemies 3 times at max level) = Thrust Motion
Thresher (Hits 6 enemies once at max level) = Slash motion

Is one more popular than the other? I'm not sure which I run across more frequently.

Well, Mapling last night started off less than plesant. Not even 5 min after logging on in Kerning, while I was still deciding what to do, I get a trade request. So I think 'great someone who wants to sell me something I don't want to buy but I'm too damn polite to ignore them and maybe there's a 1% chance I'm interested.' (I have noticed if you stand in certain areas you get a lot of random trade requests. While most people are selling something related to Bowman, I still find it annoying since I don't want to spend the money right now. Just because you're standing doesn't mean you're not talking to friends or something and you can't do crap while trapped in a trade window. Plus one guy in Henesys did it to beg so I told him not to do it anymore.) Anyway, (somenumbers)seller immediately starts getting mean and calling me a hacker and 'fu hacker i'm gonna report you' and all this crap which was rather pissing me off, and of course wouldn't respond with any reason. I just really hate when people yell at me and think I know what they're talking about when I don't and they have the wrong person, but they won't explain (I've had it happen on AIM.) Then he closes the trade window and vanishes before I can do anything or snag a screencap. All I remember was he was a dark-skinned guy in n00b clothes, like a white shirt pants and a bandanna. Then seconds later this dude wizzetDanny (also in n00b clothes) chat invites me to let me know I've been reported for hacking by 43789seller. This is when I start to realize pretty quickly this is just a scam to get account info, its not that different from the scams commonly pulled on Gaia. He's bascially like 'we at Wizet don't like hackers. We'll delete your account when you log off unless you give us user name/pass and download a program to verify you're not a hacker.' Which sounds like the utter bs it is. I play dumb with him for a while, (though of course you think of all the good stuff to hit them with later) and the odd thing is even though I'm talking with him we can't /find either of them, so they must at least be using some kind of hack to hide their location. Which implies some kind of intelligence, but I certainly didn't see any in the conversation. I almost think they may be the same person on different accounts, but it may be two people too since they talked a bit different. Emi eventually joined me and made fun of him for not being able to spell Wiznet or use good grammer and he basically kept repeating the same crap until he left. Pathetic scammers like that amuse me so I wasn't as pissed after, though I'd like to get them reported to keep any kids for falling for it. I wish I could have found his character to directly report them, I can probably email a report but by then I think its unlikely they'd be able to find them or do anything. I really have to wonder how long they were at it and why the hell they picked me, its not like I'm that high of a level. Or maybe they thought if they picked someone too high a level they'd know better but I was still high enough to have decent equips. Anyway, I'll keep an eye out though I doubt I'll see them again or they'll ever show up in /find.

After that went around with Emi on her largely unsuccessful admin cake quest, and traded her some of the cakes I had for the ones I was missing. Watched people doing silly things while wasting time in Perion, namely making those bunny animal shapes with letters and stuff in their talk bubbles. Ah the things that arise out of MS in boredom. And then we ended up going over to the beach, Emi went to look for cakes and got stuck and I went over and ended up getting a tour. Cute place, will have to go there at a later level.
The RurouniHavok logged in and asked for help leveling so went to help him, so he could get to 25 with his bowman. We tried subway then went to the trees near Ellinia. There was a mage there, Magify, who I was idly trying not to ks but we were sharing a similar area. He leveled and I saw congrats and he shortly after dropped 2k for me randomly eek So that was very nice of him, he said it was no biggie he had a lvl 40 warrior financing him. Had to decline a PQ invite from Blueberry since it was late, and went to bed not too long after, but hopefully we can still do it another night.
Still didn't level but got up to 93%. Oh yes and I notice Chief Stan is still stuck down below on that one channel. I think that's everything from last night.

As of Saturday afternoon my phone line lost the dial tone. If you call it it still rings while you listen, but the phone doesn't actually ring. So I can't dial out nor recieve calls, but it doesn't give an 'out of service' message. So thusly I can no longer dial up and get online. Hopefully the problem will be resolved tomorrow, the phone company informed me the payment department was just closing when I called and there was something about service being interrupted. But there should be *NO REASON* for our phone to be shut off, we were paid up to date and the current phone bill wasn't due until tomorrow. Unless I pay in person or by phone (with real person) it'd take days for it to process.
So I'm currently on a computer at the local public library. Yeah I'm on a different account since I don't feel comfortable signing on my main on a public computer.
Le sigh. I so wanted to play too.

Well, perfect opportunity for you to wail away at those jump quests at your leisure Emi sweatdrop Feel free to play with my bowman a bit since you hadn't had one before too. I think she needs more arrows but I have plenty of wood and feathers to make more.

RRwarrr! Finally talked to a real person and the soonest they can come out to fix my phone line is Saturday crying Hopefully I can at least catch some of the guild gathering. Probably wont' be on until last unless by some miracle they fix it in the early afternoon, since I work a lot that day. Le sigh.
Been thinking more about what to make for my third character (yeah I only have one account.) I was kinda saving it but decided to go ahead with it, when they open registration again I can just make another account if I want to. Originally I was going to make a thief, but now I'm leaning more towards mage. The thing I liked about thiefs most was looks and a couple abilities, like haste. I think I'd honestly not keep up with leveling a thief, since I already have 2 melee characters. So I want a mage, since I can have more fun with special abilities with them. I think I'd make a cleric or a ice/lightning mage.

Yikes, so Maple preview version comes out late tonight... I guess its just as well I couldn't play Maple for over a week, though I could have gotten my beta to being a hunter... its going to take me a couple days to get the preview downloaded anyway *sigh* I'm probably going to start as an archer again, and do extra warrior and mage characters as originally planned. I don't have as much invested in beta as some other people, and I feel bad everyone has to start over, but considering they did that for the East side I think it was inevitable. I know much more about the game now and should be able to make it though my lower levels faster. I wonder if I can actually get more than one account this time, or if you somehow have to verify using your old beta account. I bet either way registering will be a pain again.
I feel bad, I had so much help with my original beta character, and I'm probably going to have to beg Emi to do my jump quest again sweatdrop
